“One of the best places we have stayed. The breakfast was great, something for everyone. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and a blessing after a long, hot day. The game room was a bonus for families with little kids. We have no complaints at all”

“Great spot in the city of Clayton, Missouri couple blocks away from a park has a restaurant along with close coffee, shops, and other things on the city streets to enjoy.

Rooms: Consider that this is an older building with very unique characteristics, overall very clean and elegant.

Walkability: There’s a park nearby along with shops in the nearby radius.”

“This hotel offers small deals with my work which is why I chose to stay here. Beds were comfortable and I appreciated the large amenities in the shower to cut down on the tiny plastic bottle waste. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the free snacks at dinnertime were also a plus. Some of the ceiling tiles in our room seemed to be sagging which wasn't super appealing, but the rest of the hotel looked to be in good shape. I also really appreciated having the ease of the parking garage as an option. Great location close to the highway to hop on and off and get to the rest of STL.”

“Beautiful hotel and staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very safe and nice area. There is valet and self parking, both at a reasonable cost in a covered parking area. I also appreciate how the hotel is dog friendly and they also have a pet menu selection for in room dining. Only downside is they don't have a designated pet relief area with proper garbage bins.”

“Traveled to St. Louis for a client meeting and video shoot, and I stayed at the Royal Sonesta Chase Hotek in the downtown area. It was only about 15 minutes or so from the airport and had a lot of surroundings. From retail shops, dispensaries, parks, and more. The restaurants on site were good, but they seemed to be overwhelmed both nights. I stayed there. The room was great, but I did find an empty mug in my room.upon check I'm. I assumed it was the housekeepers. It was a very nice hotel and the staff were amazing. There was an issue with my reservation, and they fixed it immediately without any interruptions. It also has resident guests that love on one side, and if you look.uo the property, there have been some well-known names in history that have stayed here. Overall, my stay was great, and I would come back. There are plenty of restaurants on site and an actual movie theater, too. Very sweet spot.

Rooms: Large and clean rooms woth views.

Safety: Very nice area to walk around

Walkability: Plenty of spots to walk to and chill.

Food & drinks: Plenty of restaurants and sports bars

Noteworthy details: Movie theater on site.”

“The hotel is centrally located in downtown close to Gateway Arch. The lobby is beautiful. The room was very clean and cozy, and all equipment worked fine. Interestingly, there was an old turntable in the room with a number of vinyl records nearby. The restaurant was somewhat disappointing, not because of the food, which was OK, but due to poor service: my main course was never served, and once i reminded them about it the kitchen was already closed.”

“Best hotel I've stayed at in this area! Friendly, welcoming service. Everything is VERY clean and quiet. Perfect place to land during travel.

Nearby activities: Great restaurant, shopping and entertainment area across the street!

Safety: Very safe. This is my #1 and includes feeling safe because the room is very clean and fresh. Safe area to walk around. Hotel grounds nice too.

Food & drinks: Happy Hour at the hotel! And plenty of mice bars and restaurants nearby.”

“We came here before a show at the Fox.Our bartender was incredible. I didn’t catch her name, but she was very attentive (mom ears for sure!) and sweet. The manager came over and told me about many events they hold here, which I’m excited to attend to in the future.Despite the brisk evening, checking out the outside view was amazing. A bummer the deck isn’t wrap around as you miss that sunset!!Plan on coming back for sure”

“Pleasant stay in downtown St Louis at the Magnolia. Booked a room for a work trip with my Titanium status and was upgraded to a one-BR King Suite.Room was spacious and comfortable, water pressure in the shower was perfect and the bed was not too soft. Lavazzo pod espresso machine in the room and a bottled water. They even wanted to run some complementary sparkling water up to the room. Overall very pleased.Had drinks in the lounge, strong drinks, good bartender. Valet was fast and efficient.Gym was functional with a mix of cardio equipment and weights.Would stay here again!”

“First time to the St. Louis area but didn't want to stay downtown. Beautiful hotel in a nice location. There is some road noise as it is next to a highway. The water is soft and for anyone who has stayed in a hotel with soft water you know it always feels slimy ?. With that being said the room was very nice. Only issue with service was it appeared only one person was preparing the made to order breakfast. My wife and I waited for at least 5 minutes and went out for breakfast because we could see one person making food. We assumed they were also the one taking the orders and taking payment. If there was someone else, they never arrived. All in all we would definitely return. Very nice gym but we didn't have enough time to use it.”

“The slots are usually good for quick & steady bonuses. I was there early Sunday morning and the bonuses was very slim to none on a "Lucky 88" machine. That machine is usually a steady flow. ???”

“This has very easily become one of my favorite Marriott properties when I come to St. Louis. It's conviently located in the middle of downtown, it is reasonably priced, and the staff is warm, friendly, and so helpful; from the valet, to the front desk, to housekeeping. I had such a great stay and I'm looking forward to my next one.Walkability: It's in the middle of downtown.”

“When my insurance decided to stop my benefits for in-patient rehab -- while I was still non-weight-bearing from my knee fracture -- I had to come up with a solution for 2 weeks because my home is not handicapped accessible. That's when I chose "Lisa's Extended Stay" after reading a review from someone who stayed at this location for 2 weeks following surgery. My experience was as good as that person's. Lisa and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Lisa even asked about my injury's progress and shared my joy when I won my appeal with the insurance company. Rather than go back to rehab for 6 days, I decided to stay at the hotel in the handicapped-accessible room, which was perfect for my temporary needs.I call it "Lisa's Extended Stay" because this was more than a hotel stay; it was like being a guest in Lisa's home with many bedrooms! :-DMy only suggestion is to remove the carpet from accessible rooms and replace it with the laminate flooring, as it was a little difficult moving around in a wheelchair on the carpet.”

“Never stayed at a B&B before but I’m glad I stayed here. Henrietta was very pleasant and caring. The food was good. The room was decorated very nicely. The jacuzzi was great on my back and sore muscles. The location is great because you can slide downtown or hit the Delmar loop with ease. Can’t wait to make an excuse to go back. Oh and found out they give a discount to Veterans so that’s a plus.

Rooms: Diamond and Pearls room was great. Bed was comfortable along with the setup of the room itself. Staff is very courteous

Safety: Keycode to get in and cameras outside for your safety.

Walkability: In a good location to take a walk if you would like. They also have a balcony to the rooms as well as a patio area outside.

Food & drinks: Home cooked food was awesome.”

“The only thing I did not like is $150 charge they hold until check out. That's a lot... other than that EVERYTHING was so good. Cleanest hotel I've ever seen. ♥️”

“HavenHouse was truly our safe haven when visiting St Louis for a medical appointment. From the start, they were the best. Easy to make the reservation. Answered all questions when I called (and called back and back and back again!). They even called a couple of days before to confirm the reservation. Not only did they provide an affordable room, they treated one adult per room and children under 12 to the buffet breakfast and also gave us, free of charge, one meal (which we had as lunch) and snacks and drinks. To top it off, they allowed us to borrow a microwave and use their freezer! It truly was a saving grace and we wish they were in all states we visit for medical appointments as they made us feel cared for, like we had friends we could ask for help. Cannot thank them or recommend them enough.”

“Just signed on to a membership for the whole family. Place is very nice and front desk has been very friendly and easy to talk to.Indoor pool is very nice and honestly one of the cleanest I have been to. Wave pool too, so bonus there. Great separate splash/water area for toddlers, my youngest (he's a little over 1) loves it.Hot tub is down for repairs, wife and I have been told its down until between late January through early March, depending on staff members you talk to there. Regardless of when it will actually be back up and running... hopefully its back up soon. That was kind of a bummer. There are sauna and steam rooms. I was surprised to see children playing in the steam room.Good-sized full court gym. There were several people there playing basketball, multiple courts. The workout room has modern equipment. Nice indoor track so you can get your laps in regardless of weather conditions.Indoor and outdoor concessions areas for basic snacks and drinks.Outdoor pool looks amazing, although I think the outdoor pool only gets to about 3'6" at max depth. So if you want to cannonball or do some diving, it will need to be on the indoor pool. That being said, the outdoor pool has a massive slide, a lazy river. Very nice indoor and outdoor pool facilities, I can't express this enough. My only gripe is the pool schedule. Open swim currently is Friday-Sunday afternoons into early-ish evenings. Honestly, I wasn't aware of this until after we paid our membership fees (which for a family our size is pretty spendy $$). So in the off-season, if you want to take your kids swimming indoors, plan on Friday through Sunday, Monday through Thursday is off limits unless its a holiday. All in all, place is very nice and for facilities this nice, I can deal with the pool schedule. Looking forward to hitting my New Years goals by using the gym and my kids enjoying the pool. Hopefully the hot tub is fixed soon (wink wink, nudge nudge) :)4 out of 5 stars.-Josh”

“Rooms: The room was very clean but needed more towels and better hygienes products.

Nearby activities: It's food places nearby but no activities close. The food choices are limited also. To burgers and BBQ.

Safety: Once in the hotel I felt safe. Outside is a different story. Liquor store very close so you can imagine the kind of ppl walking by to get there.

Walkability: The gas station, liquor store, and BBQ stand is within walking distance. The bus stop for public transportation is right outside of the hotel parking lot. The hotel itself is right off the highway exit. You will need transportation to get there, public or private.

Food and drinks: No food or drinks in the hotel. Just small snacks like chips and candy, and a soda machine by the front door of the hotel.

Noteworthy details: They also have a no pet policy. So I would say it's not kid friendly at all. I love my pets so I don't think I will be going back . I had to sneak my cat in. She wasn't feeling well so I couldn't leave her at home alone.”

“Amazing team of men work here. They worked together to get me unloaded and then helped me to get equipment in nose of trailer. And when one of them found me passed out(fainted) from the heat, they came together once again to help me out!!!”

“Such a fun and unique hotel. The front desk and valet person were so very nice. Very chill atmosphere which was great since we got snowed in for a day. They were more than accommodating for our late check out so we weren't stuck waiting so long at the airport. Our king room was set up so cute and unique I bet the suites are amazing!Nearby activities: There is a bar in the hotel and lots of food nearby! Just minutes from the arch, the city museum, etc.Safety: Very safe area. No issues with parking out rental on the street with meters instead of pricy lots. Never felt unsafe and walked around all over.”

“When in the room notices the television stand was moved from the wall a little. Behind it, it was EXTREMELY DUSTY. Gave the benefit of the doubt due to how heavy it was as my cousin and I tried to move it back to the wall. Must have deleted the photo because I know for sure I took one. Oh well”

“Just wanted to take a moment to share my experience here at Motel 6 in Maryland Heights. I’m on an extended stay and can’t be any happier that I settled here. I work long days and the staff here is great! Especially Kia. Anything I’ve needed, she is on top of the request. And I tell you that when you’re away from home, it means so much to have friendly folks around- so to see Kia’s smiling face when I come in from work is a blessing. Always has a hello and asks how I’m doing. I also appreciate her professionalism, when my AC was acting strange, Kia got maintenance there right away. Just a really great stay for me!

Rooms: Well kept”

“I have stayed here for two weeks while my apartment was getting finished and have had nothing but a pleasant experience. Brad & his wife that manage the place are very nice and accommodating to your every need.I even found myself in a situation that I was not prepared for (my apartment not being ready) and they were very aaccommodating .Lovely people, I would stay here anytime as long as they are running it.”

“Place is right in the center of everything downtown. Service was great from hotel staff except the Starbucks, cashier doesn't really understand English so she messed up my wife order twice during our stay. Other than that our stay was great. Beautiful city.

Rooms: Rooms were clean, didn't have any issues.

Walkability: Hotel is around alot of places you can walk to, so that was very convenient for us.

Food and drinks: They have options for food and drinks. Sportsbar and a Ruth's Chris downstairs plus a shop just in case you want to get souvenirs.”
