“Norton’s Fine Art & Framing has done a superb job on a number of pieces for me. Their work has been exceptional; from helping me select frames and mats that best complements the artwork to completing the framing itself and providing me with simple to follow hanging instructions. Their advice is right on point and their workmanship is top quality from start to finish.”

“My daughter's gifted me a wood turning class at Craft Alliance for Christmas, one of the best gifts ever. I've been a woodworker since the late 60s. I have an almost full wood shop, and I enjoy my time every minute I'm working there. Turning is something I always wanted to try. Craft Alliance is a modern, clean, safe, facility, and has all the necessary equipment and tools to a plathora of diverse crafts. Our instructor Joy shared her knowledge and expertise with a class of five students with a wide range of expertise in wood. She was able to relate to all students, and from the attached pictures, you can see the success of the class.”

“John cleaned up and re-framed an old panel I wanted to display. He was super fast and did a great job! Icing on the cake: he’s a very nice and genuine man, who very obviously cares about quality and craftsmanship. That’s not easy to find these days.”

“I needed to have a painting remounted because it wasn't done properly the first time by a different business. Jaynelle and Dogtown Gallery & Frame Shop not only fixed the problem, the painting looks even better in its frame with the new mounting. For future framing needs, I will certainly be returning to Dogtown Gallery! Thank you so much.”

“Got a spontaneous matching tattoo with my cousin and we chose this location because of the amazing reviews - and they deserve every positive review they got! Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly. Our tattoo artist, Phil, was incredibly kind and made my cousins first tattoo a lot less scary. He provided excellent care instructions and honestly made the tattoo look better than the picture we showed him. Thank you!”

“I had an incredible experience at this makers space! From the moment I approached Vince with my design idea, they were all in, providing invaluable expertise and creative insights that truly elevated my project. But what really set them apart was their willingness to go above and beyond. Not only did they assist me in selecting the perfect materials, but they also picked up materials for me (after noting the vendor had given me one wrong size), ensuring I had everything I needed to bring my vision to life. Their commitment to supporting creators and innovators is evident in everything they do. A huge thank you to the entire team for their outstanding service and support. Highly recommended for anyone looking to bring their creative ideas to life!”

“Love this place! She has framed several pieces for us including an unusually sized poster piece. She provides options to work within your budget - by far a better experience and more affordable than the big craft stores who do framing. Tiny shop, superb service.”

“Such a great little local shop that supports local artists! The staff also goes above and beyond saving my email address for an artist I liked and sending me a note when they had more of her work in stock so I could get a necklace to match my favorite earrings. Cannot say enough positive things about Union Studio!”

“As someone who loves history the Samuel Coupples house did not disappoint. Before going in I didn’t expect much, just a cool looking house. Stepping in made me feel like I was walking through time, the echos of the people who lived there in the past stuck in the ears of time. There are a few places which made me want to research them more and the Cupples house was one of them. I learned about the niche side of St.Louis’s history from visiting this site. The tickets are free and you can explore the house and immerse yourself. This was an unexpected hidden gem”

“It is a very interesting museum. I truly enjoyed the two current exhibits (Feb 2024) and learned a lot about chess and its history in St. Louis. The third floor has interactive intros of the current grand masters. Unfortunately, the system encountered technical difficulties when I visited on 2/25/2024, but I looked up the life stories of some grand masters on Google after the visit. It was a good introduction, and I appreciated the information.Recommend 30-45 minutes to visit.”

“Our October wedding held it's reception at the beautiful indoor/outdoor space at Mad Art. We had 140 guests in attendance and the space more than accommodated dining and dancing. Kelsey and Ron are awesome! They provided a personal, curated service from our first visit to view the space to our incredible tasting to some last minute decorating hours before the reception. This old jail has rustic and modern character, great art displays, and a staff that provides a royal treatment. Definitely consider Mad Art as an elite venue for your event hosting needs!”

“I came to the gallery for a wonderful gelli plate printing class. I had so much fun! The teacher was knowledgeable, and we were given much time to apply the techniques she demonstrated. Before class began, I had the opportunity to browse through the gallery of many art pieces on display. They were so beautiful! I highly recommend visiting here.”

“This gallery is a showcase for regional artistic talent allowing everyone in the community a unique chance to display their work. I have attended two openings and a special event, which were very well attended pre-covid. Last week I stopped in for an expresso and found the gallery just re-opened. This is a diamond in the rough in downtown St. Louis and only blocks from the arch complex. With juried exhibits routinely changing you have every reason to visit and admire local talent throughout the year. And the coffee bar is amazing!”
