“I’ve lived in these apartments approximately 2.5mths. Perhaps I should give this review more time, but I honestly don’t have any major negative complaints. From my experience, maintenance requests are answered in less than 24hrs, my neighbors are friendly, leasing office staff are professional & friendly and I love the prices. I can only give 4 stars because anytime you call the leasing office, they NEVER answer (pet peeve). So, send an email. They’ll email you back within 2-5mins. Parking can get full, but with a front/back entrance to your building, I don’t find it to be that much of a hassle.
Disclaimer: we did have a night of random car break-ins, but haven’t heard anything since. Personally, I think the area is nice and surrounded by essential shopping stores.”

“This is the best hotel experience I’ve ever had!! The staff that work here are incredible!! The manager Mickey was so helpful before I arrived(flew in from Virginia). Whatever I needed she was on it and had such a great attitude and smile the whole time! Hazel is another lady that works there and she is so friendly and funny. One of the maintenance guys, I can’t remember his name but he’s on day shift and would take the trash out for me because it was so cold outside. The housekeeper(Caucasian lady, I don’t know her name)was incredibly kind and did her job with such a grateful, wonderful attitude. Most people that work in housekeeping are rude, don’t speak, and you can tell on their face that they hate their job, but not this lady! She was amazing and I wish I had the power to give her a raise!! Shoot! Everyone I mentioned deserves a bonus and a raise for doing such an extraordinary job with limited staff! This will be the only place I stay at when I come to Kansas!!!Nearby activities: Restaurants! Walmart!Safety: Completely safe!”

“I wish I could give this place 10 stars. 5 just doesn't seem sufficient. Not a single complaint or unkind thing I could say about this place. Been here 7 and a half years and I've never felt so at home in an apartment complex. The staff here is beyond incredible and if you pay attention you can tell how hard the veteran staff here has worked to uphold the high standards they must keep to make this place as safe and wonderful as it needs to be. Cindy and Julia have been an amazing support to me and my girls and treat us like family. They have rooted for and supported me through so many ups and downs and been a huge support during major hardships in our lives. I've met so many warm and welcoming neighbors who became friends and appreciate how hard the maintenance team and staff works to provide a safe living experience for everyone here. (Here's looking at you, Sawyer!) If you have an opportunity to make this place your home PLEASE don't pass it up. I promise you won't regret it.”

“Stunning community with helpful and informative staff. The girls in the office are always so friendly and professional. Maintenance is top notch and quick to respond to any maintenance request. I love the area and the walkability to local shops and restaurants. I would recommend Mission 106 to anyone. They take luxury living to another level!”

“This is a new complex, app 8-9 years old. I was living at an apt 35+ years old. There is NO comparison between them! The appliances are pristine, saltwater swimming pool, great workout room, laminate living room floors which I love instead of carpet. I set trash outside my door which is picked up 4 times a week. Fetch delivers my packages to my door. I feel very safe and use a fob to get in my building, which is an extra safety measure. My maintenance requests are resolved in a timely manner. They change my lightbulbs, I would have a hard time because I would need a ladder with the tall ceilings. It's a homey community and has community events every month, such as this month of Dec a "Hot Cocoa Bar" & "Breakfast on the Go." It has a walking trail with trees, I've seen deer by the stream where I park my car. Residents are entertained watching a bald eagle family, you will often see people taking pics or looking at them with binoculars. Many residents have dogs which are very well mannered and the residents pick up after them. They provide an app called "Dwelo" which is on my iPhone and allows me to turn on and off my hear/air conditioning, lights, door even when I'm not at home.Luv this place.”

“For as far as I’ve lived here, my experience at Leawood at State Line Apartments has consistently been a wonderful time each and every day! The maintenance employees are exceptionally wonderful at their work! I’ve lived here for fifteen years, and I never want to leave. The grounds are clean, the neighbors get along, and the hallways inside are nice and clean! The Leawood team all love their jobs and want to stay forever! I want to stay forever, too!”

“I Iike the park and soccer field they put in. My kids love to play basketball so now they have a place to play. Everyone in the office is great and friendly. I had to get some important paperwork to the school for my kids and they printed off everything I needed and it was so helpful. I’ve live here 7 years and have seen many improvements over the years. Thumbs up!”

The maintenance guys are really nice. I was even lucky to move in a building that’s nice an quiet. I would definitely recommend Timberlakes.”
