“We love The Roost! My only complaint (Ibis) would be the bed, the side nearest the bathroom. Getting in/out of the bed was the noisiest ever! Otherwise, we’ve done the Magnolia (favorite), now the Ibis, Hemingway, Springs. We’d like to try The Inn in the future! OS has been our go to place from New Orleans area!”

“The location in the center of "old town" Ocean Springs is superb! Shops, restaurants, art, walk to the beach. Not boisterous, over run, high traffic, touristy like 30A. Quiet, small town on the coast.

Two suite hotel in a group of five boutique hotels. Setting is perfect for the ambience. The coffee shop next door added to the experience.

Highly recommended!”

“The room was beautiful and very clean. My four star review only comes from two things: 1. I would’ve much preferred a regular coffee maker or a Keurig machine over the French press. The instructions were easy to follow, but I wasn’t impressed with the coffee it made. I was able to find some great options at a local coffee shop around the corner, though, at The French Kiss pastry shop. 2. We stayed in the Martha. After arriving at the room, I was disappointed to realize it only had one bed. I think the website was a little confusing and I was under the impression I had. Two beds. Instead, there is a futon type couch and a king bed in a back room. The trip was me, my mom, my sister-in-law, and my niece. Although three of us fit in the bed and one slept in the futon, it wasn’t ideal. I regret not calling and making sure I had a large enough room, but I would’ve liked for the website to warn me after saying it was a total of 4 people. I think clearer information would be very helpful there.
Many people complained about the train. It was made very clear on the site that the building is directly across from tracks. None of us were bothered by it at all and slept like babies. They have a wind machine and earplugs available for guests, too. People have to realize that many hotels were originally built in these locations because that’s where people were getting off the train when they traveled. Personally, I thought it added to the charm.
The location in relation to downtown couldn’t be much better. You walk outside and you are there admits lovely oak trees and quaint local shops. I can’t wait to return and soak up more of the local town.”
