“Have stayed here multiple times and always hate to leave..this time we stayed in one of the lower lake homes..was fantastic...my friend from Oklahoma tho booked a 2nd floor room in the lodge and apparently the picture window is blocked by a pine tree .. the view was wrecked...so...
we also looked at the prices of the onsite restaurant and decided to eat elsewhere or bring back food to cook ..which is a pity...cause have eaten there before and the view from the dining room is priceless...all in all it was great hearing the waves on the beach again.... Will have to come back sooner I am thinking
Nearby activities: This resort is PERFECTLY situated so you can run into Duluth and do all the touristy things there or make the jaunt north for gooseberry falls .. split rock and beyond”
