“This liquor store takes their beer selection seriously. I can't say for sure who's to credit for this fine local business, but my gut tells me a younger employee who's worked at Harvest since we moved to the area might have a hand in the beer inventory. C. knows his beer and takes pride in researching what-is-what in flavors, brewing processes, and background knowledge on booze history, and as of late, insight on select vineyards and relevant characteristics.I like supporting this local business and hope to see it continue going strong. I also hope the choice in beer selection continues. Some constructive feedback would be perhaps a greater variety in quality value-priced liquors particularly bourbon and rum. “It's your typical municipal. The place is clean and staff is friendly/helpfull. But when the city holds the monopoly on alcohol sales for 20 minutes in any direction your going to have to put up with higher prices and the fact that they close at 8 on weekdays.”

“Got the best mixers that's important ;) plus usually have samples of popcorn and beef Jerky right before you enter. Jerky shop next door so....... friendly nice atmosphere and decent selection it's a bigger store.”

“The new owner of Back Yard has made this place something I thought it could never be. This place feel like home, Driving in to downtown Saint Michael, It is the most convenient liquor store in town. This place is so easy to get in out of and he always got everything stocked that you need and if he doesn’t have it, he goes out of his way to make sure he gets in for you. So the next time I would stop more then 99.9% it’s on the shelf. He takes are order very seriously and make sure every time I stop I come out of his store feeling satisfied, and ready to enjoy a cold refreshing beer or a drink. Thanks Back Yard Liquor for all you do and big thanks to Craig for remodeling this place and giving this place a much needed boost.
