“The new owner of Back Yard has made this place something I thought it could never be. This place feel like home, Driving in to downtown Saint Michael, It is the most convenient liquor store in town. This place is so easy to get in out of and he always got everything stocked that you need and if he doesn’t have it, he goes out of his way to make sure he gets in for you. So the next time I would stop more then 99.9% it’s on the shelf. He takes are order very seriously and make sure every time I stop I come out of his store feeling satisfied, and ready to enjoy a cold refreshing beer or a drink. Thanks Back Yard Liquor for all you do and big thanks to Craig for remodeling this place and giving this place a much needed boost. “On the way up north and dropped in to see how this place is while traffic was bad. Workers are all very nice and drinks were good. Place was nothing special, but it's an easy on and off the interstate to grab some bar food and popcorn.”

“This is easily the best place to buy bourbon, at the minimum, in the St. Michael area!! Wonderful "Managers Specials" that have allowed me to try some bourbons, I wouldn't have otherwise tried because of the price! Sometimes I have found them to $20 off, on items I have seldom even seen on sale at other liquor stores.”

“It's your typical municipal. The place is clean and staff is friendly/helpfull. But when the city holds the monopoly on alcohol sales for 20 minutes in any direction your going to have to put up with higher prices and the fact that they close at 8 on weekdays.”
“First time there and so impressed. Inviting, excellent presented retail space with a wonderful selection! If I had more time I could have gotten carried away! I walked in the door to what I thought would be like finding a needle in a haystack (not knowing the name of the wine but trying to explain it to someone who could help me). I only had to ask one question and they knew instantly and I had bottle in my hand! Great service and price! Thank you so munch for helping me find my friends favorite wine!”

“Got the best mixers that's important ;) plus usually have samples of popcorn and beef Jerky right before you enter. Jerky shop next door so....... friendly nice atmosphere and decent selection it's a bigger store.”
