“These dudes MOVE !!! They ( 2 people ) were able to arrive at my 1st apartment, load everything in to their truck, drive to my new apartment, and carry everything up to my 3rd floor walk up all within *1 HOUR*. I seriously could not believe it. 5 stars across the board.”

“After being frustrated with my storage rate going up over the year that I’ve had it from $70-$152. I simply called to ask how much notice I had to give if I was going to move out of my unit and possibly to another storage facility…
Jeanette (sp??) Went above and beyond when I only called to just ask that one question and hang up. Jeanette not only answered my questions but she was able to help me get a new storage unit for $67; the same size and at the same location. All I had to do was switch from the unit I was currently in to another one.
She could’ve just answered my question and hung up, but she took the time to understand what was going on and what was important to me/my needs. She even let me take a day or two to think about it but put notes in on my account if I decided to go with her suggestions (which I did).
Let me tell you, she was SO helpful and went above and beyond that she actually made me more upset with how poor of customer service I received later in the week from a bank I was dealing with. As I left Wells Fargo I was thinking, “They need Jeanette here because she’s helpful and cares and these women are the complete opposite!!!!”
She even went above and beyond at showing me the new storage unit during a downpour.
I know I am a customer who has only had a couple interactions with her, but I will be a reference for this woman because she knows customer service. Any company would be lucky to have her working for them. Public storage, you better give her a raise. Or let her run a property. Because she’s a good one, and you are lucky to have her.”
“I checked online to understand their options and then stopped in. The person at the front desk (Dave) showed me a few units. We discussed a bit what I was in need of -- storage of long pieces of trim while we renovate a home -- and he directed me to a unit on the top level that was at the east end of the building with taller ceilings where I could then store the trim vertically, which was also conveniently next to stairs that made it easy to bring up long pieces of trim. This allows me to use the unit much more efficiently. I reserved that unit that day and officially rented it out a few days later. It's now been a week and I've mostly filled the unit (including a chair and couple other items in addition to the trim), which means it is no longer in my way in our renovation. Everything has been really smooth, the two folks I've interacted with on staff were very friendly and helpful, the building is nicely conditioned (temperature and humidity), and the building is also very clean. Five Star Storage is an easy "yes I recommend" for anyone looking for storage in the area.”

Sandy was helpful in walking me through the online reservation process when I needed to change my move-in date, and Jennifer promptly called me back to set up a tour of the facility before I rented which was super nice. I appreciated that the lease was month to month, because when I reserved my unit I was anticipating using it for over a year and circumstances changed and I didn’t even need it for the full month, so that was a huge help that I could just go online and schedule a move-out date without any penalty charges. The fees were reasonable, the facility was clean, and the property managers were on top of things. I would definitely recommend this place!”

“I have been storing here for the past 10 years and I am very happy with it, it is always clean and the office management is very helpful. It is a safe place to store your stuff as it is climate controlled and the security features they have are really nice. I like that the office is open Monday through Saturday..but you have access 7 days a week with your entry code.They have discounts for 6 and 12 month pre-pay which is really nice too.”

“I have nothing but the best things to say about the high levels of customer service and patience I was given at this location. Special thanks to Josiah for going out of his way to help me out by lending me his personal tool set so I could disassemble some items I was storing. I'm very impressed by how clean this facility is. I like how I could drive my 26-foot U-Haul truck up to the loading dock inside a garage on a snowy day and they even have an overhead space heater located right above where I'm unloading. The abundance of flatbed carts enabled me to quickly unload and the 6-wheeled flatbed carts were even able to easily jump the 18-24" gap between the back of the truck and the loading dock which saved me loads of time. Thank you for really impressing me and keeping my stored items safe with 24-hour access. I live in Las Vegas and only need this storage temporarily but this facility and it's staff are exponentially better than every U-Haul experience I've had in CA and NV.”
