“Store is always up to par. Employees are very helpful and very fast at checkout. Only thing I don't like it that they are sometimes out of meat (chicken) and run out very quickly.”

“Years ago in Texas is when I first heard of Aldi. Those stores quickly became known but not for any positive reasons. These days, Aldi seems to have improved. This seems like a typical smaller store where you can find some decent deals. The selection is small, but you can find most staples.”

“I have been going to Aldi more recently and am finding most of what has been on my shopping list at lower prices. The quality is as good or better than other grocery stores. I really enjoy their cheese fries. They are amazing, and I have not seen them anywhere else.”

“While not typically open to the public, they do accept walk in customers. Mostly geared towards bulk pizza chain goods (i.e. sauces, flour, cheeses) they have a wide variety of other ingredients to suit most any type of style.”

“Excellent selection of hard to find produce and incredibly reasonable prices. Grocery items are a bit limited, but perfectly sufficient for most Hmong cooking. I know often Muslims (my family included) go to Asian markets to look for halal items from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, etc. There isn't too much of that here aside from some instant noodles and condiment sauces. That being said, it's worth going just for the fruits and veggies. I went wearing a traditional thobe, and sometimes that can cause store employees and shoppers to give rude glares, but that wasn't the case here. Staff was respectable and shoppers were friendly. I would recommend this store to Muslims, as Hmong people use a lot of the same fresh produce we use for Desi, Arabic, African, and SE Asian food.”

“Aldis is one of my favorite grocery stores. It is small, so I can get in and out quickly. They have the basics, which is awesome since I try to eat whole foods and limit highly processed foods. And of course you can not beat the prices.”

“Usually lower prices and good produce. Great policy on return/replacement of bad items. Picked up sweet potatoes, cilantro, green beans, celery and Brussel sprouts.”

“Most if not everything here is organic! Nothing better than fresh real fruit and veggies that’s aren’t genetically modified and full of pesticides. Reminds me of my garden produce I grew up eating. The prices here are also way better than anywhere else I’ve seen with these types of foods. TONS of vegan options! This is my new grocery store ? lots of peppers as well ?️”

“I feel like the people in this area are not good at getting a parking spot and getting out of one. But I like it here. The isle with home goods is my favorite place to shop. I can have a whole cart full and not a single grocery item! Lol♥️♥️”

“When I miss my mom's home cooked Laotian dishes, Mo's deli is where I go for takeout. While I wait for the best and spiciest papaya salad, I shop for fresh fruit, kitchen staples, and treats. It's a gem!”

“I used to live in MV and always shopped here a long time ago and loved the store! After 7 years of living in a different city, I was in MV to see my parents and decided to do my grocery shopping at this store last night! It was such a clean store!! I was very happy with my experience! Very organized and clean and easy to shop compared to the one by my house. I live 20 min away but I plan to do my grocery shopping here and get my 2 for 1 by visiting my parents as well! :)”

“Great diverse marketplace. Great prices on chicken wings and fish. And I love the random items I can get there and not at cub. Whether I'm buying eel meat for sushi or a pack of frozen bugs to threaten my children with if they don't do chores it's a pleasant shopping experience.”

“Been shopping here periodically for the last 15 yrs( they used to be in the warehouse district) for my concessions business. Great folks always quick with phone in orders or walk-ins. Friendly and great staff.”

“Their spots are clearly marked for pickup. The employees are nice, respectful and very helpful during my pickups or in store shopping. It's clean and they keep it stocked nicely.”

“Definitely the nicest store in this little pocket. Faces Phalen Blvd and has a nice bike rack. Store is clean and have everything that you would expect from a normal Aldi. Unfortunately, the entrance that faces the rest of the shopping area stays locked at all times. Also, the bathroom doors are also locked. I'd expect an Aldis to do better in this regard.”

“I deliver and pick up here every day.The staff is friendly and professional. The door to the receiving department is at the far end of the dock, past the garbage compactor. Sign in, leave your bills and wait for a phone call or someone to come out to your truck and direct you to a door. There is a button for a buzzer, I tap it once to let them know I'm there, don't expect them to come running though, they're probably working on another load.Turn around time for an OTR is about 2 hours. Timing depends on how many trucks show up before you.Make sure you chock your tires. They focus on this, rightly so as they don't have dock locks.Stay safe, drivers!Edit: the current location is in Little Canada( since fall of 2020), much better parking situation than the previous location on La'Orient Street in St Paul.Edit#2: dock locks being installed on some doors. Still using some chocks though.”

“The best place for tropical fruit in the twin cities, and I’ve been searching for a while! Amazing variety and quality that you won’t see at larger grocery stores. Can’t wait to go back.”

“If you're in need of fruit or vegetables cut up and ready for a graduation a shower or just having a party this is the place. give them a call and they'll have it ready for you to pick up. Also for the holiday season they have outstanding fruit boxes to give as gifts.”

“This store is nearly always tidy & well-stocked--and if it's not, there are employees in the aisles making it so. The produce is fresh, the prices are great. Knocking off one star because I'm not a fan of the self-checkouts. Yes, I know there's *a* cashier available, but that doesn't change my opinion. It won't stop me from shopping there--but it does diminish the experience for me personally.”

“This location is convenient for us, but it's also a bit smaller than some of the newer format stores. Some items aren't stocked here as a result, but the staples are available at the great prices we expect from Aldi. The parking lot can be difficult to navigate at times.”

“Fatboy alert Code Red!!! Man your stations!!!! I was at Aldi's and bought something called shaved beef. I made the most amazing steak and cheese sandwich with this shaved beef. I would rank my steak and cheese higher than tono's.”

“This location has no self check outs and the Champlin location has too damn many self check outs. If I have one or two items up to 8, I will do self check out. More than that i want a cashier to do it.”

“I have gotten nuts from them a few years now. Their products are always top quality. I am snacking on the chocolate toffee almonds right now. So good! Previously I've tried the cashews and mixed nuts, also great.”

“Great full for Aldis most of the time. One huge complaint, I do not appreciate some of the cashiers throwing, groceries into cart so fast it crushes fragile items, knocks over items in cart, bruses delicate produce....Apparently, that is part of their training, to be fast ! It's not how fast that makes a good employee. Please, put a touch of kindness on how you handle our picks at Aldis. Thank you”

“Has Great produce! Staff is usually quite friendly! They also have alot of organic foods.. and also have many different original kind of items they carry here too!”

3.7 Good90 Reviews

“I currently work here. There is a lot of great organic produce. Consider getting a buying club together like some folks do in order to make bulk purchases! Maybe I'll see ya around at the Will Call dock.”
