“Over the weekend my checking account was compromised, so after putting a freeze on my account via a phone call to customer service I came in when the branch opened on Monday. Without an appointment the branch manager, Holly Kvapil, met with me, changed over my checking and savings, updated my account to my married name, called and got me new credit/debt cards to be sent to my house, and answered all of my questions. As someone who has never had a checking account with fraud, the experience was new to me but Holly was incredible. I would recommend this branch to anyone!”
“We have banked with CIB for over 20 years with the Robbinsdale branch being our primary location. First off, if you call them, you speak to a real, live person immediately. If you go in regularly, the staff begin to recognize you. I cannot state enough what a value it is to have a bank that invests in the local community and provides professional customer service immediately in person and over the phone. CIB holds our mortgage and has never sold to a third party. They offer competitive rates on loans and savings. We have used CIB for home equity loans, checking and savings accounts, CDs, accounts for our kids, a safe deposit box, and a financial planning consultation. There are additional branches in Hopkins, St. Louis Park, and Plymouth. I highly recommend CIB.”
“I feel very bad that so many reviews are negative regarding this location. This has been my primary banking location for the better part of 40 years.
Like everyone, I want fast service. I don't always get that. There are fewer staff than the old day's. Yet that seems to be the direction that all physical service's have gone.
Balance that with some nice extra perks in the online banking system, early access of $500 to check deposits, two days faster on the total amount for electronic deposits.
If that means less physical staffing. OK. I can accepted that as the good, bad and ugly of todays world.
My personal experience with every staff member at this location has been lovely. The branch manager Kim is a wizard. a very busy wizard. Steve has managed banking at the desk, drive through and notary functions for me repeatedly.
I value the staff here as they have helped me maintain accounts for family members, who use me as their "I'm over 90, please pay my bills for me" as well as my developmentally disabled, nephew's finances.
Perhaps I'm inclined to look at this as take it all in balance, but I like these people. I like the attitude of these employees.
And corporate, please hire one at least one more wondeful person for this location. Make sure they are awesome and pay them all their true value!
