“The woman that checked us in seemed distracted. When we got our keys, I asked which way we needed to go to get to our room and all she said was to take the elevator. I ended up having to look up the hours for the pool and breakfast because she never told us.The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was decent.”

“Easily the best Hy-Vee liquor store around. They've got more space than most, and they don't waste space on mountains of cheap and flavorless beer, or an entire aisle devoted to every IPA under the sun.The selection here is fantastic. They have a nice balance in their selection that few places manage to achieve. Sure they have some of the light beers and cheap wines, but they also have more craft beers than you're likely to find anywhere else nearby. If you're a fan of barrel-aged beer or wine, this is the place to go. It's the only place I've ever had the "problem" of having so many excellent barrel-aged options I had a hard time deciding which ones to get.All of this is available at prices that rival the giant warehouse stores, without the endless wandering to find what you want.The people who work here are helpful and friendly, and while they don't tend to be experts in all things alcoholic, they do a good job of knowing what is in stock and where on the shelf it is. You may not get recommendations for the perfect wine pairing, but if you know what you want, it won't take long to find it.As a final extra bonus here, they have some of the best tobacco prices around. Lower than the tobacco shops in the area. Even slightly lower than the prices across the border in Wisconsin.Two thumbs way up to the manager here. This is one of the most well-run establishments of any kind I've seen in recent years.”

“Just stopped in to refuel. The gas station was under renovation. Still easy to get around though. Cashier was helpful and friendly. It would be alot more customer friendly if they had parking spaces near the building. The parking spaces that are there are for the restaurant.”

“I wish I would’ve gotten the cashiers name. He resembled Seth Rogan. He was so pleasant and had phenomenal customer service. I was in a bad mood when I entered the store and left laughing and with a smile on my face. He deserves a raise or a big Christmas bonus. Good employees are hard to come by these days and this Kwik Trip is fortunate to have a pleasant young man like him. Thank you for the enjoyable conversation and great experience at your store.”

“I’ve lived in mounds view for 20+ years and regardless of the over exaggerated 1 star reviews I’ll continue to get my gas and do my shopping here. I work mornings and the young man behind the counter is welcoming and always very happy, the new owner runs a very tight ship and doesn’t take nonsense from anyone. The rest of the staff are always very helpful and helpful to anyone who needs it. There’s no place better than the station.”
“Well kept and professionally run in the manner that is ubiquitous throughout the franchise. Everything was well stocked, clean and inviting. Bathrooms are in good repair, and perishables were rotated in all instances. I would give 5 stars but for the outrageous cost of certain candy bars.”

“There's nothing extraordinary from the outside when you pull into the M&H Gas Station parking lot, but this is no ordinary gas station.M&H has been committed to quality service for over 100 years and has been providing the Midwest with gas since 1931.This place is filled with amazing deals on a variety of hot foods like biscuits and gravy, fresh popped popcorn, specialty drinks, coffee, slushies, shakes, smoothies and everything else you would expect a gas station to offer. There is also a car wash, and a substantial amount of merchandise, including hats, glasses, gloves, etc.If you check their website, they post monthly coupons that include gas savings, snacks, beverages, and merchandise.This well-known gas station is a staple in the East Side Community, and most have patronized this establishment for years. Depending on who's working, they remember you and call you by name. The Customer Service is decent, everyone is doing their job.This is a place that you definitely need to check out and support.”

“This there was a woman handing out samples tonight around 5:30pm. She asked if I wanted one and gave me a sample of everything. I told her how much I appreciated it because I was just wondering what I was going to eat for the night Because the money I had in my pocket was for gas And that is all I have for the next week. She gave me a few more samples so I at least had something in my stomach which I really appreciated having something other than Ramen!”

I went up to the counter and the kind lady helped me find a great substitute including a stuffed pink and white bear to make it special.
