Seems like a nice place. A relative lives there. I looked into the pricing and waiting list. The monthly co-op fee seems pretty exorbitant, so that was disappointing.

The inside is like a museum. Nice place to meet others.

My parents lived here for almost 10 years. They absolutely loved it, and they made many friends while there. It was hard for them to leave, once my father required more nursing care, and Nokomis Square will always hold a special place in our heart.

Nokomis Square Cooperative (senior apartment-style housing) is in a residential neighborhood in South Minneapolis with many shopping and service opportunities within walking distance. We’re convenient to public transportation including the Hiawatha Light Rail Line. We’re also close to natural beauty spots such as Lake Nokomis, Minnehaha Creek, and the Mississippi River. Downtown Minneapolis, the St. Paul Highland area, Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, and the Mall of America are all just a short distance away.
