“I took a Girl Scout troop of 7th graders for self defense class here. The kids thought they were going to be bored and were too cool for the class, but the kids had an absolute blast. The facilitators were so awesome. The training was very inclusive, respectful, but also entertaining. The facilitators were very good at keeping the kids engaged and motivated. Definitely a great choice for group events!”

“Amazing Technicians, wonderful service..and they even have massage chairs in the waiting room! The bathroom is nicer then my mom's, and everything is literally glistening in that place...I am used to mechanic shops with dirt floors where I'm from.. sooo this is next level! Also one of the staff drove me the holiday Inn as the car was in the shop over night. Good people over there..I highly recommend seeing them.”

“Family member has used them for many years to apply a special coating on vehicle to control stone dings and dents and early rust as factories no longer rust proof like they did years ago. He even suggested to some local car dealers they should look to them for some of the in shop work they needed done. Family member trying something new they offer to replace the need of a bug shield. Last bug shields lasted only a year or two, they cracked and chipped from road salt and sun. Even worse, they vibrated and in time dug into the hood paint. They have a clear film they use and place on hood where bug shield would go and protect. Looks nice but will be interesting to see how well it works and holds up.”
“We made a last-minute decision to take our 2011 van on a several-day visit out-of-town, but it needed quite bit of deferred maintenence work completed on very short notice. TGK Maplewood Manager Evan was great to work with as he committed to getting it done on time (even earlier!) for us. Even with a big storm that knocked out their power for some hours, they got it all done, and done well. We feel so much better now taking our preferred vehicle on this trip. “I just wanna say this place is amazing. We traveled from Texas to Minnesota in our Class A Winnebago motor home and the engine driven air conditioner stopped working. Needless to say, while driving it was HOT inside the RV. When we finally arrived in Stillwater, I tried calling numerous repair shops advertising air conditioner repair. Unfortunately, as soon as they hear the AC was in an RV they ALL said they don’t work on RV’s. Fortunately my son recommended Matt Hall, owner of Stillwater Collision & Mechanical. Matt said he would look at the AC and if it was simple he would fix it. It turned out the repair was not simple. The AC condenser had a large leak. After evaluation Matt and the Aron, the Technician, recommended the condenser be replaced. Matt took the time to locate the part in Chicago and had it priority shipped to Stillwater. Matt’s technician Aron worked 5 hours on the unit and did a perfect job, exceeding my expectations. The price was fair and reasonable, everyone was very professional and a joy to work with. Excellent experience all around. The Stillwater Collision & Mechanical deserves a 10 star rating.”

I have referred several others as well, all of whom were equally impressed. Being a car enthusiast I do not settle for sub-par work and therefore I tapped into the car show community for recommendations. This is surely the best way to narrow down your options out of hundreds of companies in the twin cities, most of which are just looking to turn over cars as fast as possible. I have seen so many people go down that path in the past and with absolute regret, but I was not going to make that same mistake. "Good enough" does not work for me. Luckily the world is full of options to fit people's various needs. If you want it fast and/or cheap then surely go somewhere else, but if you want it right then this is your place!”
