“Having experienced several poor visits at other car service shops, I decided to visit Youngstedts in Hopkins. Max, the man who took my scheduling call was great. He was knowledgeable, personable, and listened to what I had to say about my vehicle. He also worked up several quotes for new tires that I will need in short order and took into account several options that I wouldn't have considered had he not suggested them. The tech that worked on my car, sorry I don't remember his name, completed the work quickly and accurately and I couldn't be happier about my experience!”
“I ain't here to throw stones, so I'm not naming any names, but a different shop in the area won me over for my business helping me out of a bind years ago. I think that crew has moved on and my last few experiences were pretty not great.
A few months ago the alternator was going bad in the Mrs car. Friend of mine recommended Sparks a while back and we were able to limp it over. Even though they were closed, the fellow inside unlocked the door, took the car took her info and we had the thing back and running before dinner the next day.
Just last week, on the 3rd of July of all days I started misfiring. Young man behind the counter (and also on the phone) was incredibly helpful, super informative, and even complimented the stupid trendy electric skateboard I brought with me to get home on. It was a far cry from my last front desk experience with the aforementioned prior garage, who was so focused on chatting and ordering his sandwich he didn't even inform me my part of the conversation was done and I ended up standing there like a jackass for what felt like an eternity.
Again, they kept me posted, didn't cuss me out when I asked them to go back under the hood for a pump I forgot to mention, and I COULD have had the car back in time to make the 3 hour drive to the cabin that Friday.
But I made the Mrs drive instead anyways, we just fixed her car too after all
Oh and since I left it over the whole weekend, they even parked her in the garage for me.”

I usually do my own work but the job I needed done was too much for me to tackle on my own in a driveway. So I trusted bill and his team to get the job done, and did they deliver!
Got it back the same day. Bill saw us walking to the shop to pick up the vehicle and offered us a ride.
On top of all that, they also fixed the hood latch.
This is the only shop I will use. Incredible service”

Bestop arranged for a local installer, Joiiio, to handle the installation, making the entire process convenient. Joiio contacted me to schedule the appointment, and Brandon, the installer, arrived right on time as promised. Brandon's professionalism and dedication were immediately apparent. Not only did he install the Sunrider efficiently, completing the job within the estimated timeframe, but he also went above and beyond to address an unexpected issue with my doors. The bushings were severely rusted, causing the doors to be extremely stuck. Brandon tackled this challenge with commendable perseverance and skill, working tirelessly to resolve the issue. It's worth noting that the door repair was performed for a small fee, but Brandon's hard work and dedication were exemplary. Despite the difficulty, he remained focused and determined to ensure the doors were in working order. “I love coming here! They get me in and out in no time! The one time they didn't because they overlooked my car, they gave me a free oil change! Also, when I took my car to the dealership for a couple of recalls, they said a left bulb and cabin filter needed to be replaced. It was going to cost me $130. Meineke did it and the oil change for $80!! Best 80 bucks I ever spent!”
“My brother-in-law recommended we bring our 2005 Subaru Outback to Tommy's for a strut fix. They were super honest and since we are going to let our elderly mother and father-in-law, we wanted to have them check it out and ensure it was safe.They listed some stuff that could be fixed, but unlike the dealership, they didn't have any pressure.The car drives like it did before the strut issue and Tommy was actually at the desk when we picked it up. Super cool guy and seemed super honest, what more do you want in a car guy?We will be back often. They are right across the street from a NAPA auto part place, which probably helps!”

“DAS is a great example of what seems like the very few companies who really stand behind their work. My first generation (1991) Miata’s AC was , by all research, a lost cause. They resurrected it at a fraction of the cost of replacement and when a 30 year old o-ring leaked, they replaced it - on warranty. My expectation was a reasonable charge for shop time - something most places would gleefully charge. These guys absorbed it. That’s the highest standard of excellence.”
