Holiday Market is a long-standing neighborhood store and specialty market that began as a small butcher shop. It has grown significantly while focusing on high quality products and friendly service. The store features some of the best produce in the area, an excellent deli selection, a well-regarded bakery, and a smokehouse BBQ described as a gem. It offers a fish and meats counter, prepared foods, salads made to order, and a decent frozen seafood selection, though some note the poultry selection can be limited and the meat department is okay. The market also houses a popular cooking school with professional chefs, where hands-on classes often sell out. While many employees are very nice and the shopping experience is smooth with friendly staff, some feel the customer service is not what it used to be. A common point across reviews is that items are marked much higher than at other stores, with staple items often twice the price or more. This is considered a tax for a good, well-stocked shopping experience. The prepared hot foods can be hit or miss, sometimes criticized for being too salty, spicy, dry, or overcooked. Despite the higher prices, many customers return for specific items and the overall quality.
I love the store but I’m giving 3 stars because the manager is plain rude, what a shame to get a lower review due to that. She needs better training on how to give good customer service!

I like it and go there often. It is hit or miss sometimes on the hot items (too salty or too spicy compared to what it usually is), but the employees are very nice.

I am single and don't cook so this is my go to spot. Today, I don't know what happened but everything was dry, overcooked and unappetizing. 🤷🏼♀️
