“The person that I was starting to work with to get 125 handouts made for my wedding ceremony became nonresponsive last minute, and I had to look for someone, anyone, that could get my wedding handouts made in a hurry.I was getting married in 48 hours, had no handouts, and began to panic. I called the nearest printing shop, PDQ Printing in Royal Oak. Marge (the owner, I believe) and Steve helped me by taking on the job last minute, and getting the layout and printing done by the end of that day. I called them on a Thursday, they had the job done by 5pm that day, I picked the handouts up on Friday, and got married on Saturday.The handouts looked better than I ever expected. Marge assured me that I need not worry, that they'd get them done on time...and they sure did! Their website says they're "enthusiastic about our work. We hope to earn your business in all we do." Well they certainly have! I highly recommend this firm for all of your printing needs. They do great work, and are also the nicest people to work with!Thank you Marge, Steve, and PDQ Printing! “This is a belated 5 star review. It should have been written in early August 2023, after the great experience I had there. I used this location to pack and ship several items including a desktop PC, and a lamp and shade. I also brought in several cartons I had packed myself. The employee who helped me was wonderful! So cheerful and patient. When the costs were totaled, she asked if I belonged to AAA or AARP, which I do, which gave me a discount. I've been using UPS for years in Michigan and Florida, and no one has ever mentioned those discounts. I was delighted. Now, here it is January 2024 and I'm just opening the boxes they had packed for me. OMG! What an amazing job they did: everything wrapped so carefully! No shortage of bubble wrap or tape at all! They even hand made a separate little box for a light bulb. Plus they neatly packaged a couple of old potholders I meant to toss out, and included a cute little note with a smiley face on it. So, 5 months later I'm finally writing this review. I just had to write and commend the store and the great employee who helped me. I'm so sorry I don't have her name now. If I do find the original bill of sale and her name is there, I'll edit this to give her the public acclaim she deserves.Thank you, UPS on Livernois near Walton! Job VERY well done!p.s. I've used this location in the past, and always thought they did a great job. This time, the experience went far beyond! Thank you for providing such excellent service.”
