“Got fitted for running shoes. Patrick watched me walk a couple of times and, based on my needs, brought out several options for me to try on. I ended up buying 2 pairs. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Another person also helped, I never got his name but he was also helpful and knowledgeable. Not only did I get great shoes there but I felt safe. I'm not going to get into details but there was a creeper shopping there. Patrick knew how to handle the situation so that I felt safe. I didn't even have to say anything--he noticed on his own. More men should be like him.”

“It was my first time going into REI, but it wasn't that far of a drive, and the staff there is really nice. I had an old 20ish year old mountain bike that needed the brakes fixed. It's WORTH GETTING THE MEMEBERSHIP. It's a $30 one-time fee, and you get 20% off any bike shop repair service. Theres no limits to how many bikes you come in and you get a lot of perks. The guy I talked to was named Jason (I think), and he was very good. He fixed my broken kickstand free of charge and did a full check-up. Got the new breaks, installed them, and did a new break wiring system for under 100 bucks and in 3 days. Totally worth it! Now my bike is a lot safer and should last another 20 years.”
