“After having a terrible experience at my vet when it came time to let my cat go, my husband called VCS and they were able to get us in to help. Putting an animal down is so incredibly hard but they were so gentle and caring.”
“Once I discovered walled Lake veterinary hospital it is the only place we take our doggies. All the doctors are kind, compassionate, and patient. They are knowledgeable and always find answers to health problems. The receptionists, technicians, and assistants are equally kind and compassionate.”
“I will not take my dogs there ever again.took my dog there she was going to have puppy's ,she was not eating drinking going to the bathroom or nothing,they took her temp and gave her a iv with electrolytes , her sides were hard as a rock .told me she will have her pups in 1 to 2 days ,she was carrying 6 pups , which they were worth up to 3,000 apiece .well that night she died called emergency and they told me put her in a dark place and leave her alone, by rights they should have had me bring her in . NOT so I lost my dog and pups and Alot of money ,but they madee pay them 256.98 for what they did Don't go there they don't care !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“The staff here is incredible. My senior dog passed away, and they were so caring of me and my family. They sent us a card in the mail and when I went back with my other dogs, I felt nothing but love from everyone. They care so much about the pets that walk through that door. I highly recommend this place as they have the most caring, knowledgeable doctors around.”

The only complaint is I called today to ask questions and the person who answered the phone was curt so I ended the call before getting all the info and googled instead.”

“We've been coming here for almost thirty years now, and the doctors and staff are second to none. They care about the animals and pet parents, and they treat all like family. They also make reasonable suggestions for your pet's care and diagnosis, rather than try to sell you a bunch of tests your pet doesn't need, and if you have an urgent issue, they do their very best to accommodate you as soon as possible. “I absolutely LOVE this place! The Doctors and staff I’ve encountered have been so kind and caring. My more recent experiences with veterinary offices (last ten years) have often felt rushed; you feel like a number. However, this office stands out far above the rest!
After moving back home with our 10-week-old puppy, Mille, who was sick and needed to be seen ASAP, Commerce Village Vet was the only vet willing to see her immediately (including my previous vet). Other offices had appointments in 10-14 days if I wanted to wait that long, or they suggested I take her to an ER vet. No way could I let my girl continue in pain for that long. Also, she was a puppy, and I wanted to start Ellie off with her new vet and the best experience possible. I didn’t want her first vet appointment here to be traumatizing.
Since our first, we’ve had several visits, and each one reminds me how much I appreciate them and how happy I am to have found them.

“I am so thankful to Dr. Desana for giving me an extra 2.5 years with my baby with congestive heart failure. He saw her initially for coughing and fluid in his heart, and she did such a good job with helping us manage his condition and his medication. The practice is so good with taking the time to talk things through and explain what's going on and the next steps. They aren't super expensive either.”
“The staff was very patient with our new puppy as she worked through some anxiety on her first visit. They jumped right in to help get her in the building and settled. During the appointment, they were very present and spent the time needed to answer questions, provide recommendations, etc. and never seem to be trying to rush us out for the next appointment.
