“Very clean and staff was super friendly. Only complaint was that the toilet in bathroom is very close to the ground, almost like toilets for kids in an elementary school. It was not a standard height, and being so short makes it extremely difficult to get up from, especially if your a senior.”
“This gem is fantastic. If you need to walk downtown, it may not be for you, but it is a walk to downtown.
The rooms are very nice and their beach is excellent and there is a fire pit. There are plenty of BBQ grills for guests if you want to use them.”

“We got in a little late, and the manager checked us in, just a really nice lady, we got a suite because we had 4 kids with us, and it was a nice separated room, and right next to the breakfast room.
The room was a little outdated, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was OK but all in all it is still one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at in Mackinaw, and again, the manager and staff were all friendly.
We will stay there the next time we are in town.”
“Got the room last minute before a marathon nearby. Was able to book it same day as one of the cheapest rooms in the area. Has a bit of a musty smell but bathroom was clean and room was clean overall. Needs some repairs here and there and the bathtub drain is slow (room 115). AC worked and had a small coffee maker, microwave, and tv. Did the job. The front desk gal was nice and accommodating to my request for some breakfast food the night before since I'd be leaving at 5 am before breakfast is served. Serviceable motor inn for anyone needing a bed for the night at a budget price.”

“Very nice for the price. All staff was very helpful and attentive. Signs in halls of maids working all hours of the day. Pool/waterpark was well stocked w towels, chairs and tables. Downsides, vending, ice, laundry, game room and waterpark entrance all on 3rd floor. One elevator and luggage cart in the whole place, and it doesn't take u to the waterpark, those are 3 flights of stairs or the front door from outside. First floor rooms have parking lot access, 2nd and 3rd all had balconies. 4th u take a set of stairs from the 3rd. Roughly 60 rooms. We truly enjoyed the game room but change machine was empty, front desk sells rolls of quarters. Improvements they could use new carpet throughout and would be nice if hotel and waterpark entrances were locked needing key card to maybe keep locals from sneaking it and helping it stay crowded. The pool could have used a good cleaning, the bottom was covered in sand. Overall, do believe we will visit again. Great little waterpark, especially for younger children or a child's first time.”
“No better place to stay if you want the best views of Mackinac Bridge, the Straits of Mackinac and Mackinac Island in the distance. Cozy, comfortable, clean, motel room that provides restful sleep. Very friendly staff. Allowed us to check in a little early because our room was ready.
Approximate 12 minute walk to the Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry Terminal, and a large number of dining options and shops. While not perfect, this is the only place we want to lodge at while visiting the area.”
