“We decided on a last minute weekend trip to Mackinac Island. This was our first trip to Mackinac and I did not know what to expect I chose the hotel because it was close to the ferry dock. I will go back because the staff was amazing and the property is beautiful. before we arrived I reached out to the hotel asking for suggestions of things to do and places to dine. Not only did they make great recommendations but they then made the reservations and had an itinerary printed for us upon our arrival. Thank you Hotel Iroquois for a great weekend!”

“We stayed at the Chippewa for 2 nights in mid October. Fall on the Island is magical. Accommodations were fantastic and Bart and his staff impressed us with their service. Can't wait to go back next year.”

“Wow this place is really freaking clean! It smells clean immediately when walking into the lobby and in the rooms which was much appreciated. Service was great and beds were comfy! The pull out bed, however wasn't that comfy but tbh I wasn't expecting it to be ? they usually aren't comfy. Overall, great experience! Would definitely stay here again.”

“Soooo delicious! The Raspberry Mango slushie, Barbie chicken, festivals and service was all amazing. Superb! Chantelle was our server and she was a delight! We couldn’t recommend this more!”

“Lovely hotel. If steps are an issue for you, I would find another lovely hotel though. Staff was pleasant and breakfast was good. Will definitely stay there again.”

“Not worth the price! We visit the island on our anniversary yearly, my husband booked us a room with a soaking tub. The tub did not work properly. It was either extremely hot or extremely cold. No way to relax in it and enjoy. They said they didn't have the part to fix and the front desk gave us the run around. The tub handles fell right off in our hand. Definitely not ok for a so called luxury stay! They could of at least seemed sorry for the inconvenience, when we checked out I handed them the tub handle, so they did end up taking some ( joke) amount off but not ok for leaving us without what we intended for our stay! I should also mention this was a four night trip, not a one or two nights. They definitely should of done better at making us not feel like we wasted our hard earned money on this ghetto trap! Manager couldn't even be bothered to speak with us, they left the front desk clerk to handle it. Such a shame really.”

“The location is great - directly across the street from the old Star Line (Now Mackinac Island Ferry Company) dock. It's just a bit down from Douds which is also super convenient. We went in off season, and were able to get a room early (about 1pm). I didn't see it advertised, but they had free donuts (8am...though they also had them out in the evening) and coffee (24hrs) which was great. We didn't try the restaurant (Mexican) but it looked good. Their in house fudge was really delicious, and quite fancy! The room we had was decent sized. We'd definitely stay here again.”

“We had an amazing time here. The food was over the moon, the staff was attentive, and our corner room was so cozy and comfortable. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate our honeymoon. On the very last morning that we were there, we were lying in bed and it was just before 7am and being that we stayed in October it was still dark at that time of day. The lights in our room came on, went off, came back on, went off again, and then came back on and stayed on all by themselves. We looked at each other as we were lying in bed and pulled the blankets up and over our heads until the sun came up. It was amazing!!! We will not soon forget our incredible experience. It was the best and we will be back. We have come to find out that the Island has many Ghost Stories and The Inn at Stonecliffe has a few of it's own.”

“I stayed here with my 13-year-old son and my mother who is in her late 60s. We all three enjoyed our stay here. The building is beautiful, the room was large, the beds were comfy, the location was great, the breakfast was decent, the spa pool was awesome, and the 24-hour coffee, tea, and hot chocolate was very nice. It's an easy walk from the ferries and into town. Bike rental options are across the street and also like two doors down. Our only complaint was that the floors in the room above us were sooooo creaky. I sleep with earplugs and they drowned out the horses clopping by and the ship horns my son said he heard, but even through my ear plugs I heard the creaky floor overhead! It would also be super nice if they had refrigerators or couches in the rooms that are that big. We could've used both. But I would stay here again for sure if the price was right. Recommended.”

“We did not stay at the hotel . We did pay the $10 to tour the hotel and sit on the massive porch. It was absolutely beautiful. The views, landscape and drink service was amazing!”
