“This week was my first shopping trip to Aldi. I went knowing they wouldn't have everything on my list, but I was able to find the majority of items, so that was a happy result. There was a fair selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, breads/rolls/buns and meats. Four days later, the tangerines are still fresh...not hard, little balls!The best was the checkout. The cashier was nice and helpful. I saved quite a bit on groceries this week! That is a big help. I'm a new regular.”

I don't know how to eat all of it, but I'm willing to learn! Big stores put little businesses out of business. I hate walmart and meijer. I miss shoprite/spartan stores.”
“This Asian market is really close to my house. It seems like a family that runs the shop. I wish there was more of a selection, but they have the more important items. I sometimes come here for specific drinks or snacks, and I find them not there, so I think either it's seasonal or they ran out. The vegetable selection is great! I usually get beef bones here as well.”

Atmosphere - 5/5 | Truly one of the nicest meijers I’ve been too. It’s incredibly clean and well organized and having a little coffee shop and eatery inside is a nice benefit.
Staff - 5/5 | I just moved to downtown Lansing and wasn’t familiar at all with this Meijer, but the staff were super kind and more than willing to help me!”

“A friend highly recommended La Frontera for their fresh Tamales and oh my they were right! I’ve traveled the country and sampled many tamale recipes. These are phenomenal! it’s great to have a place like this right here in Lansing! The women was helpful and friendly and the grocery department has a great selection. “I have been going to this market for years. The variety and pricing has always been amazing, with a variety of exotic / international produce, spices and other products that is hard to beat.Recently though the store is under new management and the changes are awesome. Every time my wife and I visit now it is new and improved. While still maintaining the farmers market vibe that has always made it so nice it is cleaner, brighter and modernized every time.The owner and staff at the store have always been wonderful serving an amazing variety of diversity in customers, and the owner is not only happy to answer any questions but to strive to fill any gaps in their products offered.Great store and only getting better!”

“Went in on recommendation from a friend and found the place to be more of a hole in the wall with amazing authentic mexican eats type foods. Bought some in house made chorizo that was absolutely amazing in flavor. The in-house made tortilla chips hit the spot as well. Don't forget to hit the. I hate it's so far away but will definitely be back to make future purchases.”
“This place has some authentic Nepali food. The timur chopp and buff sukuti I bought is good, and rarely available elsewhere. The himalayan momo was okay, but better than the dumplings from Costco..wished it had price labels though.I would still avoid fresh produce, as the cauliflower looked past its prime.There are pooja materials too, blankets that reminded me back of home. Overall a good place.Five stars for the rare ethnic food I was able to find there, and tasted good!”

“I've been dealing with this particular establishment since there opening.The best thing I can say and admire about this business is that if the bank isn't open or you're having difficulties cashing a check! This is the location to come to they have assisted me on several occasions successfully I might add with quite substantial amount tender, sure they take there cut which is reasonable given this is not a bank! But" performs as such when needed, These are some of the brightest" and we'll to do businessmen I've ever had the pleasure of being acquainted.”

“WOW WOW wow WOW! I'm new to Lansing, and I sort of just stuck to the small Asian grocery store near my house. However, this is why you search / research into other options. Bobo is a bit of a drive away, but upon me walking in, the person at the counter didn't know amazing english, the variety was huge here. I got many Asian vegetables that I wasn't able to get at the smaller Asian store. I got glass noodles, white pepper, some beans, snacks, drinks, peanuts to roast, and I was ECSTATIC to see dried fish. I come from an area where there are much more authentic Asian grocery stores that literally have restaurants with people shouting in different languages making food and selling stinky stuff. People get used to it. But after shopping around some Asian markets here in lansing, I was worried I wouldn't get that authenticity and my smelly fish and more flavor. Well, Bobo definitely has lots of food variety and does not stray away from dehydrated fish, even silkworm! ;-)) I was able to make a great Thai dish put these ingredients. And even if the person at the counter didn't know perfect english, they helped as much as they could when I had a question on selection or trying to find different items. They also didn't rush me out when I was trying to fill up my basket and find the right ingredients for my recipe. It was nearing closing, they were sweeping the floors, and they said for me to take my time and to ask him any questions. I felt very accommodated.”
