“I typically take my pets to Dr. Smitley at Millwood, but my cat, Chuck, had a medical issue and wasn't able to be seen by Dr. Smitley soon enough. I made an appointment at Kalamazoo Cat Hospital and was extremely satisfied by the service. The veterinarian we saw was amazing, I instantly liked her just as much as I adore Dr. Smitley! She was incredible with Chuck, who was very unhappy to be at the vet. The exam and urinalysis were done very quickly, and we were sent home with medication to help with Chuck's recovery. The total cost of the visit was much less than I expected, which I also greatly appreciate! The staff at the front desk were fantastic as well! I think this will be Chuck's new permanent vet! But, I still love Dr. Smitley, so my other 2 pets will likely continue to see her. THANK YOU for taking care of my Chucky Boy!”

They helped quickly diagnose her with Autoimmune hemolytic anemia which is a chronic condition they continue to manage and she is almost 13 years old. They are so kind and knowledgeable. I continue to come here for veterinary care for our dog Sophie despite moving to the Lansing area. They also just had a lovely remodel of their office too and it is so inviting and nice inside. “We have been at Eight Street Veterinary Care for about 6 years now. They have always been gentle with our animals, even with our male cat who used to be a bite risk.
