“Wonderful host! All the amenities. Beautiful and fantastic place to stay. Plenty to do nearby, including art museums. Rooms are clean and well decorated. The hot tub makes for a very relaxing vacation. Fantastic breakfast and a variety of activities at the house. Twice visited with plans for next summer.”

“Booked the English Inn for a weekend getaway. Everyone was so pleasant and accommodating from the initial arrival to our departure! The grounds were Immaculate and well kept. The food was fabulous and the selections were more than adequate. I had the Lobster stuffed walleye. It was excellent! Loved the room and the bathroom was perfect! Bed was comfy... The whole experience was wonderful! We'll definitely be returning!!”

“My daughter and I stayed here overnight and it was exactly what we needed. The whole place was very charming, and the staff was extremely kind.
Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed. It’s located close enough to the expressways and downtown without actually being downtown (which I liked)
We ate at the restaurant inside and dinner was amazing, with many gluten-free/vegetarian options. The free breakfast buffet was also really good.

“Really enjoyed my first stay at this hotel. I was there on business. All the staff I encountered went above and beyond and were super friendly. Rooms are very nice. Even had a white noise device which I have never seen in all my stays. My only sticklers were the pillows are super soft so that was very uncomfortable. And the liquids wall mounted in the shower had shampoo and then conditioner and then another shampoo. I think they forgot to put the body wash in. Definitely. Not show stoppers, and I would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.”

“Very good experience overall. Outside of the building is kind of ugly but inside is updated and very nice. It's clear they hold a lot of conferences or at least cater to a more business-oriented clientele. The suite was huge with only some small signs of the building's age (a little rust in the shower, for instance). Staff were pleasant and very helpful. My only complaints are that the bathroom is small to the point of feeling a bit claustrophobic and the shower didn't have any hot water. That was a very unpleasant surprise. Overall incredibly good value.Rooms: Very large, spacious, and comfortable.Walkability: There are a few things very close but otherwise you will need to drive to get to restaurants etc.Food & drinks: Breakfast was disappointing. Potatoes were cold and eggs bland.”

“Joe is the man. Cannot say enough about how great he made the stay for my company! Over 20 of us had to check in within a short time. He was able to check us all in (doing 2 at a time by himself). Outstanding customer service and such a nice face to the hotel. The rooms were solid as well. Give Joe a promotion Marriot he deserves it!!!”

“What an amazing extended stay! Great room and comfy bed and pillow, hot shower, very clean! But the highlight of our stay was the staff! From the front desk person to the housekeepers to the gals doing our laundry, you could not ask for a better staff!!! Our almost one year old baby Kenny has been in his castings most of his little life. He’s missed out of lots of swimming, hardly having bath routines. Since he has finally been corrected, his Grandma is giving him a hotel room with her gift certificate! She’s been saving it for this exact occasion. However, we literally just found out courtyard actually doesn’t have a pool. I was so sad but thanked her. Could’ve been end of conversation.
Instead, the sweetheart went above and beyond making it clear not to get our hopes up, but that she would talk to the Sales Director, to see if we could possibly transfer to their affiliate hotel, in which does have a pool. I thanked her so much and if they can’t I totally understand that I just appreciated her even trying. She took my name, number and email, in which Brook confirmed that they could switch it for us. They literally made our year with their kindness. To a stranger. I’d love to say customer but they already did their job. She was so polite, gave me my answers and could’ve ended it there, as I was already satisfied although a little disappointed about the situation.
Thank you ladies so much for your warm hearts and compassion for my baby! We will take plenty pictures!

“Our dog was having surgery at Animal Opthalmology Center in Williamston and this hotel was listed as pet friendly so we decided to give it a try. The hotel is older but everything was clean, particularly the room. We booked a king and it had a small couch, coffee table, desk and a microwave and mini fridge.
Hotel was fairly quiet and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve ever slept in.
Many restaurants and amenities within walking distance. Very safe and beautiful area surrounded by farms and fields.
Staff was very nice and knowledgeable.
Would absolutely stay here again!”

“This hotel was very pretty, clean, and the staff was very polite. The continental breakfast was good, there were several choices and we were able to do a late check out for 1pm at no additional cost which was very helpful for our circumstances. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms: The room was clean and very comfortable. I traveled with my husband and 3 small children and we had plenty of room without feeling like we were right on top of each other. We stayed in a King with a pull out couch. Highly recommend. My kids were so thrilled with the room (ages 2 year-6 years) and the space to play.”

“I visited with my sister and out-of-town company that were spending the weekend. Beautiful, peaceful, and wonderful gardens to wander through. Three friendly cats, lamas, and donkeys made for great photos.”

“Staff was always pleasant and cheerful. Great room for the price. Fantastic breakfast all 3 mornings. Several options to choose from even for picky eaters like my self. I enjoyed the full mini kitchen in my room. Also the desk with a nice view outside.Another thing that is a bonus about this location. All areas, inside and out were very well lit. I had no difficulty seeing the sidewalks or the parking lot at night.Thank you all for a great stay, and keep up the good work :D”

“Rooms: The rooms are spacious, but barren. One of the lights in the room constantly flickered, the bathroom looked clean but reeked of stale piss, and the floor seemed like it hadn’t been swept in ages, shower had great pressure and nice temperature, and the bed was okay but you can tell it had seen better days.Walkability: There’s a few restaurants you can walk to, both fast food and regular sit down dining. There’s also gas stations on either side of the motels property that are fairly close and have a nice selection of things.”

“My two best friends and I stayed here for our Girl's weekend. We loved the stat, the beds and couch were comfy, we enjoyed the full size fridge and the dishwasher. We did notice some cobwebs behind a chair as well as a bracelet somone else left and a water bottle onto of the fridge aomone left. But there were no seriouse cleanliness issues. We appreciated getting some extra towels when we needed them. All around the staff and the room were great. We will be back.”

“We were both tired and exhausted. We over slept and the front desk was supportive and allowed us an extended period of time. We ended up staying another night. Thank God. Definitely helped us out and I will be back again.”

The location next to a major freeway does create road noise.Rooms: The rooms are large, however the layout creates a smaller bathroom.Nearby activities: A large outdoor shopping center is located in the area.Safety: The general area appears to be safe.Walkability: The immediate area is not very walkable.Food & drinks: The availability of both food and beverage services is limited”
