“I have stayed in this area many times throughout the years. This hotel, by far, is the best. I am a very blue-collar kinda guy, but the staff treated me like I was one of business guests that is their normal clientele even though it was obvious that I was not. That, to me, means everything. Nobody ever wants to feel like they are out of their element. I look forward to booking here again!Nearby activities: Plenty of shopping and awesome restaurants within walking/short-drive distance!”

“Booked a room late Wednesday night for thursday When I showed up for my stay they said the room was booked for the day before and even though nobody checked in the manager of the hotel refused to help accommodate the situation. I am staying in town for 6 plus months working at the new GM factory and planned on staying at this hotel many times over if I liked it. So after the manager of the hotel refused to do anything at all i took my buisness across the street to the Marriott. If you want customer service this is not the place for you as they couldn't wait to get a quick money grab. Hope the $100 was worth me booking across the road for weeks at a time.”

“After having had a my condo redtagged due to water damage from from a neighbors fire, my insurance put me up here for about 6 months. My insurance adjuster has caused alot of unnecessary problems making the whole process extra stressful but my staying here has been the one extremely positive experience I've had. The entire staff has been amazing, helping me putting out extra fire my adjuster seems to enjoy causing, and making me feel at home here. Carrie and her team are outstanding. The rooms are fully equipped for long term stays and the amenities are great. Couldn't have asked for a better place to live while waiting out the construction.”

“If I could give 0 stars I would. Sorry my room had bed bugs and the bottomOf the bed has blood stains. It was not a good place to stay. It’s dirty and it’s horrible when you walk in and have a nasty smell. Never again will I stay there. I walked out with my mother after driving 12 hours. And went somwhere else. They wanted 110 for a night I rather sleep with the sheep’s then sleepThere.”

“Last night of my week stay, I stopped by the front desk to get some toilet paper. I was told that unfortunately they ran out. I told her that I don't have any, and the Housekeeper did not check on my room this morning.She told me that unfortunately there is nothing that she could do. She said they have an order in and it will be delivered the next day. I was dumbfounded. I could not believe the words that were coming out of her mouth. I asked her, what was I supposed to do and she said I don't know. I asked for her manager name she mumbled it off, I asked that she write it down and she said I can do you one better, here's her card. I told her that she needed to check for an unoccupied room and get me some toilet paper. It took her several minutes but that is just what she did. No apology no nothing. I immediately went to my room and called the customer service line to put in a complaint. Other than that epic failure, my stay was fine.”

“Rooms: The rooms are spacious, but barren. One of the lights in the room constantly flickered, the bathroom looked clean but reeked of stale piss, and the floor seemed like it hadn’t been swept in ages, shower had great pressure and nice temperature, and the bed was okay but you can tell it had seen better days.Walkability: There’s a few restaurants you can walk to, both fast food and regular sit down dining. There’s also gas stations on either side of the motels property that are fairly close and have a nice selection of things.”

“I’m here for a conference and got lucky enough to order a carry out for dinner. Halle took care of me and she’s the sweetest thing ever! The food is amazing, we were told it’s only been open like a week because of the hotel rebranding, so just pack your patience.”

“Laid back. No one bothers you...quietly set back off the road. Shopping and food as well as bus stops within 5 minute walk...front desk and housekeeping are very nice ladies...low price weekly rates while waiting for an apartment to open up. If I could go anywhere in Lansing to just relax . It would be here.. they also offer a military veteran discount. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Don't believe the bad reviews. Who cares what color the lamp shade is. People who travel and work HARD everyday have a decently nice place to stay while working per diem. Highly recommend to anyone who doesn't nit pick. NO there's NOT bugs... Trash is emptied everyday and they're always quick to ask if we need anything. 5 stars...”

“These guys went out of there way it started out bad the first room they gave us wasn't cleaned yet, the second room still had people in it, so finally they upgraded us to the suite. So about the suite a few stains on the carpet chair has a broken leg and ceiling is chipping in the living room. Other than those couple of things the indoor pool, and gym are fantastic and breakfast was pretty good as well.”
