“They have clothes, shoes, a few kitchen wares and nice backs to choose from. I have found some gems there. Sometimes they have furniture to give away. The food items are mostly can goods, some fresh veggies, bread, cereal, you get a pack of hot dogs and a bag of chicken. Sometimes snacks. The can goods, hotdogs and chicken are a mainstay. Everything else changes as it is received. Worth it.”

“I love this store. I have been shopping at Parkway since before they moved to their current location in the old Farmer Jack on Jefferson. The meat is top notch and at far cheaper and better than any place except maybe Eastern Market. They have actual butchers that can break down an animal and they do. Not everything is cheap.......like most stores. I shop most everywhere, Aldi, Kroger.... every week so I know the prices The owner is always getting deals like Triscuits for a buck a box NOT OUTDATED. I would drive to Rochester to see if I could find that deal there but heard traffic was backed up on Rochester Road. Meat people very helpful and present if you want something special or have a question. I have had a lot of special meat orders throughout the years. I also like the checkout people, fun and friendly. The service in this place is immaculate. They have an amazing team and will make sure you get what you need and are treated right. The space is very clean and you rarely see any clutter or mess. Definitely an amazing store to shop at regularly.”

We also had our wedding here last year. It was amazing and all of the staff (especially Paulette) are so kind and helpful. Have your wedding here if you’re considering it! You won’t regret it.”

“You have to remember that Aldi's is not a high end, gourmet supermarket with a deli and fancy pre-made meals. What they are is a place to get organic produce, meat and dairy at really reasonable prices. I come here quite a bit because the produce is always good, they have all the basic staples, the meat is fresh and also organic, if that's what you want. They also have a pretty good selection of spices. Aldi has there own brand and I've found 90% of their stuff is good. Everybody is different though, so what I like or dislike may be different then you, you just have try things and see. They also stock some name brands. If you like wine and beer they have a good selection to choose from. The middle aisle is where they have weekly household or clothing or other random fun items at great prices. I've gotten a playhouse for my granddaughter, bras, boots, pet beds, Little People and all sorts of things that I didn't need but walked out with anyways. There's a whole fb page dedicated to this center aisle called 'Aldi Aisle of Shame.' Yes, you have to shag your own cart and pay a quarter to free it from the other carts, but that's what helps keep the prices down. The checkout can be a bit slow sometimes, but the cashiers are always super friendly and nice. This Aldi has added self checkout (not a fan if I have a lot of stuff), that has made things go faster. And oh yea, bring your own bags, it's good for the environment, plus you'll have to buy them if you forget.”

“If you are looking for a place to be a blessing to others this is it. Capuchin services not only provides food and clothing to individuals families going through a rough patch. They also have a small area dedicated to a home goods and some entertainment items such as books and tapes. While I was there a family who had just experienced a fire was being helped. Their reach goes beyond the building. They coordinate with another local agencies and provide assistance with furniture, housing, job-seeking and readiness. This is a great volunteer opportunity, especially for students trying to complete their community service hours for high school credit. The entire building is highly accessible for those in wheelchairs or with other types of unlimited mobility. For those unable to come in, they offer the opportunity for you to send a representative. This service agency truly fills the gaps that many of our neighbors fall in unbeknown to us. They definitely need and deserve our support.”
