“I really like the Meat department, its Fresh, nicely displayed & good quality. I was there this past Wednesday, had excellent service & the meat manager was knowledgeable & friendly. It's been a while since I've been here, but I'll definitely be back. I was able to get what I needed in produce & bought a delicious Pizza, made perfectly. & got out fairly quickly. Great Experience!!!”

Not only do they have a seemingly endless variety of interesting products to wander through but the employees are the best (cheese counter), it's worth stopping in just to take a spin on the elevator and MY PERSONAL FAVORITE there was great blues music coming out of a back room. “Subhanallah, my husband and I actually came across this store by accident because we were leaving another meat store that had a long line and we didn’t want to wait in the cold. At first we were skeptical. If it’s your first time going it can be confusing. You go in through the big medal door. You just pull it and walk right into a slaughterhouse. It’s definitely cold and loud but overall pretty great. One of the guys walked us through the whole process and took his time advising us on what to get and asking how we wanted each part of the lamb cut. We ended up getting at 37.5lb baby lamb for around $300.”

“What a great find. I just had the best steak I've ever had, and I have had a lot, being that I travel across North America for business and have eaten in some of the top steak houses in the country. I had a special day to celebrate, and I called them to have a couple of Wagyu NY strips cut to 2" - Ken was happy to help me out and they were amazing. “Staff is extremely helpful and kind, Including the supervisor. Only complaint,changed their potatoe salad, very bad. Will never purchase again. The previous potatoe salad was very tasty and well made just like homemade. Family was looking forward to the good potatoe salad with ham. Very disappointed.Vegetarian options: They have frozen vegetable dishes in freezer section such as green bean casserole and broccoli dish. All very good.Wheelchair accessibility: Store is all on one level with easy access. The staff is very helpful too,example:carrying bags to car.”

“Our first time here, and everyone was so helpful. We bought a whole Sirloin (8 or 9 steaks) with the Brazilian top cut (8/9 steaks). The butcher sliced everything perfect for us. We also bought pork chops(8 beautiful ones), and 5 lbs Bacon.The cost was so reasonable and their meats were perfect looking. As soon as we got home, my husband cooked up some slices of beef sirloin and the taste was phenomenal! So good, melt in your mouth! First in quality, Flavor. Price!”

“I don’t hunt so I can’t speak to the processing side of things, but their meat has always been on point for me. Venison, elk, and bison galore at an excellent price. Exotic meats are more expensive but worth a try if you’re adventurous. Have had python, camel, antelope, ostrich, gator”

“Wow! With Easter coming up, thus is DEFINITELY the BEST pkace to get your Holiday Ham & Holiday Sausages! I'm not big on ham, but the Dearborn ham is the ONLY HAM I will ever eat! Very lean and can definitely taste the high quality product! The sausages are another grest option here! We love the special Holiday Kielbasa! Definitely the best sausages around. For summer we stop here to get the large packs of hot dogs for camping! Nothing that is even close! They also have the large diameter Dinner Frank's! Everytime we make them while camping, ppl always ask where we get then from!”

“I love this store. I have been shopping at Parkway since before they moved to their current location in the old Farmer Jack on Jefferson. The meat is top notch and at far cheaper and better than any place except maybe Eastern Market. They have actual butchers that can break down an animal and they do. Not everything is cheap.......like most stores. I shop most everywhere, Aldi, Kroger.... every week so I know the prices The owner is always getting deals like Triscuits for a buck a box NOT OUTDATED. I would drive to Rochester to see if I could find that deal there but heard traffic was backed up on Rochester Road. Meat people very helpful and present if you want something special or have a question. I have had a lot of special meat orders throughout the years. I also like the checkout people, fun and friendly. “I've done business with Ernst for over 25 years as an executive chef in three restaurants. Not only has the service been outstanding, the knowledge of the owner Greg Ernst and his staff- the excellence of their product- the communication are simply excellent. They've been local and family owned for generations; integrity and transparency beyond reproach. Like many chefs I have to "deal with the Big Boys"- Sysco, US Foods, GFS etc. And frankly, I never had much use for any of of them per se. Ernst has performed brilliantly for me- and got product to me when The Big Boys could not- even though that lack of product was their mistake. I heartily endorse Ernst Hotel Supplies in all areas- Do yourselves a favor and make a call- you and your crew, your guests & your bottom line will not regret it.”
