I had a coupon for oil, filter and tire rotation for $59.95. When I checked out the bill was $82 with all of the extras like shop supplies. Not sure why you need shop supplies more than stuff which should just be a normal part of doing business. While I was there they told me that I needed a cabin filter for $82 and an air filter for $55. I can buy both filters for $19 and put them in myself in under five minutes. The inspector had already taken the filters out to inspect them and it would have been as easy to put in a new filter as it was to replace the original filter. I understand that they have to make a profit but that is beyond ridiculous. One of the reasons why I went in was to have my winter tires put on and they said that they could do that as part of the tire rotation. The tires are on rims so there was no mounting involved. Unfortunately I did not check until I got home but when I checked I found that they had not put on the winter tires. The winter tires were still in the back of the truck. I would expect that type of price inflating and poor service from back alley shops, not a major dealer. I texted them the next morning but they did not respond.

Took my new to me 17 Tacoma in for a “check up” to make sure everything was sound and good to go, not knowing the full history of the owners before me. Ron was a great help and very communicative, even took care of an open recall automatically. (no extra charge of course) inspection video was very nice to have, always a service i like to see when going to a dealership for repairs/service needs. Left knowing my Tacoma is set to last me far into the future, and that I can trust Toyota to treat my vehicle as their own. thanks for the help Ron! Hope I never have to see you again though! :)

went in 4 an oil chang. they broke the 3 bold nuts and charged me 320$ to replace them. save u time and money go somewhere else(my car only 5 yrs old)

Great RAV4 hybrid buying experience! Did it all from start to finish only via emails & texting with my salesperson, John Kangas. This is my 3rd time buying from Toyota of Grand Rapids. I so appreciated having no annoying meetings and no game-playing pressure. You can’t go wrong with a quality Toyota; the style, value and reliability are unbeatable! I love my CH-R and my RAV4!

Service was thorough, as usual. Shuttle service was provided and appreciated. The driver was very pleasant. Asst Service Advisor Kyle Kohl provided information for what’s needing attention, maintenance wise and explained it well. The lounge area was clean with choices for complimentary hot beverages. Always a 5-star experience and service.

Amazing!I have always been impressed with the service I receive at this location, but this time was exceptional.I had an appointment and needed a rental for my day. Unfortunately there was only one rental available and it was promised to a customer with a later appointment time. Kyle went out of his way to see how he could make it work for me and between him and the manager Tom they arranged for me to take Tom’s demo vehicle to run my errands! That’s right, the car he drove to work I used to run my errands. I was able to get my service completed while getting all the things I needed done on my list.I am so thankful I didn’t have to reschedule my service and also that I could still make the most out of my busy day. Very polite and maybe a little to much if there is such a thing. Had a much better inventory, compared to other dealerships. When you first get there you get passed around a couple times until you get your sales person but it is not that bad. Did not take long to get in find my truck and get out. They helped me do everything online that I could ahead of time so that once the vehicle was ready then there's just some signings of paperwork and the way you go. I can't speak to all the sales people but my salesperson seem to be a little slow getting back to me at times and other times it was almost immediate but overall a good experience.

Get there early for appointment took care of me in minutes. Service provider took care of everything and told me everything is good. I ask the to do 50k mile dealership recommend service. I believe they done that well. I see few minutes as they are not updating tracker and inspection report. I am little concerned about that.I will be happy if they provided video of service.

I had called at 2:45 when I left work because my boyfriend and I traded vehicles, and his tire light and maintenance required light came on. They got me in at 3:15 the same day and shuttled me to and from my apartment so I didn't have to sit around. They taught me what those lights mean for future reference, overall had a great service!

Victor S. Was our sales representative during a recent purchase of a Toyota Tacoma truck. He kept us updated at every point of the buying process, was very friendly and easy to converse with. I thought he was well informed on specs/features of vehicle and took extra time to make sure everything was set up to my liking after the sale. I have recommended victor/Toyota of GR to friends and coworkers since our visit.

Service center is lacking. Had an appointment for my car. Walked in the service center with 3-4 guys standing there. No one acknowledged me, 2 made eye contact then said nothing. Service manager came over once I pulled in to try sell me an alignment without knowing why I'm even there. Then another person came over to sell me an alignment before checking me in. Mind you, they have their prices and others on the wall for this and they are the most expensive. Sit and wait for my car to finish, two hours go by(told me it would be 1 hour to 1.5 hours) without an update. Finally get an update that they haven't started yet and are trying to get it in. Just wish they had some decent customer service, acknowledge customers when you walk in and give you an update when your not going to meet the scheduled time.Update* So for my car being slated next at 1130, I didn't hear anything until I called at 230. They didn't have an update, 330 they called to say they hadn't looked at it yet. 5:06 they called to say they needed to order a part ...Quote has the part marked up, from their parts department, 152%. Yeesh, with being able to pull up prices on the Internet these days they'd at least try to be competitive. I understand a mark up but haven't seen that kind of mark up before.Personally I'd recommend shopping around for a service department that is at least up front with the situation. Buying a car is a pricey endeavor these days, and making sure you have a good service depart behind you is important.

Even though it took a long time to get the part for our car to be fixed, we are happy with the service. Kyle did a great job at keeping us informed. When we really needed another vehicle for transportation he was able to accommodate. Thank you for doing all you could through the whole process.

Loved dealing with Toyota sales. They were professional, went beyond expectations, very kind, incredibly tolerant of our busy toddler, and didn't try to over-sell things to me. I was able to get a fairly customized warranty with ease and they walked me through everything they offered and helped me truly choose what plan was best for our family. Would absolutely recommend them to work with for the purchase of another vehicle.

We recently purchased a new vehicle from Toyota of Grand Rapids and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We reviewed the inventory online which was complete and accurate. Our contact info was sent and we received a follow up phone call the next day and were able to schedule an appointment. That was so nice, we envisioned stopping in the dealer and waiting for a sales person and this was anything but that. We were greeted upon arrival and introduced to our client services rep, Kevin Martin. Kevin was an absolute joy to work with - he listened to our wants/needs and made the perfect recommendation for us. He knows Toyota inside and out and most importantly knew how to communicate his knowledge to us. Buying a car is a big deal, he made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
