“This once ski shop is now converted into the local liquor store. There is everything and when I say everything listen to me. I can NEVER find The pineapple brand from Smirnoff vodka and today I did. I stocked up and bought every fifth they had. Floor to ceiling drinks. I am in love with this place. Plus the cashier was on point. I needed tonic water with lime and he jumped right up to find it for me. This is one happy girl! Cheers”

“Ghezzi's market is the cutest little corner store in lakeside that reminds me of the corner store I'd ride bikes with my sisters down to in the countryside with our quarters and get the nickle candy and a faygo soda, with little Debbie cakes. It's just one of those wholesome memories that just brings me back. I guess it's a michigan thing, and I love it so much that there's just a place that feels cozy like that to me. The only thing that makes me sad is that they're not open really late.”

“This place is a hidden gem. I stopped here on a whim to grab some last minute holiday gifts. I was impressed with the selection and price points. I live in California and I did not expect to find a store with so much variety so far away from home. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the store and incredible customer service. There was a younger gentleman that assisted me and he was a joy. Helpful, funny, and didn’t try to pressure me to buy things I don’t need - much appreciated! I’m sad there’s not a location in California lol! Definitely stop here for gas and more!”
“Stopped in Grand Haven strictly for the peanuts. They were fresh out of the toaster (they roast their own) Not only did it smell like peanut heaven but my husband has not stopped doting about how amazing they are!!It's a very fun store with great specialty items!! Great candy selection!!He claims this is the best batch ever. I have a feeling will be going back for more.”

“Not sure the man's name, but he was super nice. He gave me a Starbucks frappiccino because it was out dated by 2 days. I told him I would taste it and if it was good I would pay for it and he Todd me no he didn't want my money.”
“Usually pretty quick when the lines get long which is only certain times of the day other then that workers are nice and friendly. Nice corner store. Prices are fair not ridiculously high.”
“I'm not sure, but I think the person behind the counter was the owner, and he couldn't have been nicer!I went in there to buy two things: a pack of cigarettes and ice. Their cigarettes were comparable to other prices of convenient stores in town and they were well stocked. No complaints at all in that area. But the reason I only gave them 4Stars was because they didn't have ice! Who owns a liquor convenient store and doesn't have stocked ice? Now I don't know if he never had ice there or just happened to be out that day, I just know I can buy cigarettes at any convenient store, but if I can't one-stop-shop at your store, I won't be coming back.”
“Well...I have a lot to say but I'm going to keep it short and civil! Here's what to like: hours are pretty great, open until 2:00am every night, except Sunday and then they close at 1:00am. They are open 7 days a week. They sell almost everything you can think of, so if you happen to be staying at a nearby hotel (like myself because we're building a house) and need something the hotel doesn't provide, chances are Blue Bird will. It's in walking distance from hotels and neighborhoods. For the most part, the cashiers are pretty nice, just don't pi** them off, I have seen what happens when someone decides to do that... it's not pretty! Now what not to like: Prices, prices, prices! They will buy items from places like Walmart and up the prices 300%! It may be walkable but only at certain times of the day! Even in the middle of the day, at 65, I have been asked for a 'date' (wink, wink). My only response was to scold them that I was old enough to be their grandmother! However, it didn't seem to matter, so that's a real 'what not to like point'! Sometimes the cashiers are more into macking on the pretty girls then paying attention to the job and the line gets longer and longer especially when everyone seems to need lottery tickets! And last but not least, when the EBT machine is down, which is a lot, they don't care. I would bet half or more of their sales comes from Food Share Cards, so it's rather idiotic. And it's really pretty easy to fix those machines when they're down, they just won't do it. I remember it being down for at least 2 weeks once because people in line would get up to the counter and have to put their items back... not only does the Blue Bird lose sales but my guess, some loyal customers, too!”
“Broadway liquior is a great place to cash check and get the essentials if u can get to the biggest stores they have a little variety of everything so definitely check it out”
“My sister used Mugs for bar service at her wedding this October and I was so impressed! I am a professional wedding coordinator so I have seen it all and Mugs did not disappoint. Jayne was our bartender and she was super efficient at keeping the bar line moving. She checked in on me multiple times throughout the night to see how I was doing and cleared glasses whenever she could so that the tables didn’t get cluttered. I would recommend Mugs to anyone needing bar service at their event!”
