“Wonderful selection of everything. Great if you need to make a quick stop. Wish they had a little better selection of "make ur own 6 pack." Disappointed that you can't break other packs. But still good.”

“Nice and fair priced cup of coffee, baked goods such as cookies, brownies, baklava. All very delicious.Other places charge way too much for a cup of coffee and sweet baked goods. So nice sensible places still exist.Nice daytime lady employees. Helpful with coffee, baked goods and use of bathroom.”

“We love lighthouse. They have a good selection of a variety of spirits and reasonable prices. A walk-in beer cooler, and several wall fridges have just about anything you could want. They have Lotto too, if that's your thing.”

“I have to say that a few of the items in the retirement basket had Maggie's stuff in it. The best Cookies I have ever had. Just look her up to get some more and seen that she had no reviews. In my mind I was like how is there none as good as her stuff is. Look everyone you must try her stuff head on over there you are missing out.”

“The owner of this location and Ks in the Heights have been phenomenal and dedicated members of the community. Without ever asking for anything in return they have privately given back through anonymous sources. They have a sincere desire to see the people of Muskegon & Muskegon Heights grow together. Its difficult to come by genuine people who want more for others than themselves. A huge Thank You!This side of the law supports your efforts!”

“Real nice store, real professional, knowledgeable and nice people work there! We are new to the area and close to the market. We have already met the owner’s granddaughter Bella, and we are told that the grandpa, owner is Italian and we are excited to meet him because we are Irish/ Italian (Sicilian) too. Love the westside of our state.”

“They always have anything I need! I used to buy my liquor here when I was younger and used to drink! If they don't have it they're always helpful and willing to order it!”

“Not sure the man's name, but he was super nice. He gave me a Starbucks frappiccino because it was out dated by 2 days. I told him I would taste it and if it was good I would pay for it and he Todd me no he didn't want my money.”

“Well...I have a lot to say but I'm going to keep it short and civil! Here's what to like: hours are pretty great, open until 2:00am every night, except Sunday and then they close at 1:00am. They are open 7 days a week. They sell almost everything you can think of, so if you happen to be staying at a nearby hotel (like myself because we're building a house) and need something the hotel doesn't provide, chances are Blue Bird will. It's in walking distance from hotels and neighborhoods. For the most part, the cashiers are pretty nice, just don't pi** them off, I have seen what happens when someone decides to do that... it's not pretty! Now what not to like: Prices, prices, prices! They will buy items from places like Walmart and up the prices 300%! It may be walkable but only at certain times of the day! Even in the middle of the day, at 65, I have been asked for a 'date' (wink, wink). My only response was to scold them that I was old enough to be their grandmother! However, it didn't seem to matter, so that's a real 'what not to like point'! Sometimes the cashiers are more into macking on the pretty girls then paying attention to the job and the line gets longer and longer especially when everyone seems to need lottery tickets! And last but not least, when the EBT machine is down, which is a lot, they don't care. I would bet half or more of their sales comes from Food Share Cards, so it's rather idiotic. And it's really pretty easy to fix those machines when they're down, they just won't do it. I remember it being down for at least 2 weeks once because people in line would get up to the counter and have to put their items back... not only does the Blue Bird lose sales but my guess, some loyal customers, too!”
