“I brought my 2017 Lexus RX 350 FSport to the Lexus dealership (stealership) to get a diagnosis for my car was stalking and the engine light was on. The stealership completed the diagnosis and stated that all of my fuel injector were faulty or going bad. They quoted $5,000 for parts and labor. I laughed and said “ you got to kidding me.” The service rep said everything pointed to my fuel injectors. He said I had 12, 6 port and 6 direct. Of course, I’m the type of person that gets a second opinion. So, I picked up my car and brought it Rob ( the Car Guy) for diagnostic and I gave Rob the paperwork and codes from the dealer with had P0175, 0P174 and one other which I cannot remember. However, all three codes printed to sensors ( Evap purse, MAF and one more). Of course, I did research for about a month reading and getting an understand of the EVAP system on my car as well as other knowledge and I was successful at finding awesome mechanics and very informative videos to assist me in my search. When Rob explained to me the issue with my vehicle I had knowledge and understanding of what rich/lean meant as it relates to my vehicle. Rob is very knowledgeable and has years of experience. He’s a amazing mechanic, and has excellent customer service. He’s also knowledgeable about cars. When Rob diagnosed my car, he found the issue to be the Evap. Purse sensor. The sensor (Evap) was stuck opened. He replaced the sensor that cost $141.00 (OEM part). I haven’t had any stalling or the engine light being illuminated. He reset all the codes and sent me in my way. So I wanted to write this review to encourage someone to do your research. Don’t just listen to the dealer because they are the dealer and just because they are the dealer doesn’t mean they’re honest. Rob is a honest mechanic which is very hard to find. While they are diagnosing your car, you need to diagnose them and make sure they are not running a scam on you. It’s really unfortunate that we live in a world where all that is care about is ?. Do your research. Bring your car to the Car Guy. He’s exceptional. ?”
