“I have been using Flagstar for a little while and have a multiple of accounts there.
I currently run my personal- checking and savings, my business account and my non-profit's account through Flagstar.
Flagstar as a whole is a wonderful bank to work with. I specifically work Flagstar Birmingham, MI Branch and they go above and beyond for their account holders.
Rachel Pritchard (Branch Manager) makes everything as easy as possible and makes sure that you have the right accounts for your situation and your needs. I am continuously impressed with her knowledge in this industry and gives me a reason to stay with Flagstar every time I go.”
“DFCU has been very responsive and helpful throughout the many many years we have been members. Thank you for adding more neighborhood locations, that has saved us gas and travel time as well!!”
“I stopped here at the ATM, and it's pretty nice that they have the tap option. Not like some other Huntington ATM that they don't have that option. It's on a very busy crossroads, but I didn't have a hard time getting out. But probably during the busy hours it will be hard to get out.”

34901 Woodward Ave 3rd floor, Birmingham“I have been with E*Trade for quite some time. And I like what they have to offer. The banking is OK. Not bad, if I must say so. But what I like most is the ability to do your own investing. The young men who work here might seem a bit Spartan with their interactions and their customer service. But I seriously hope they don't offend anyone. And besides, I don't need anyone to hold my hand. If I have specific questions, I can get answers from highly informed people that I know personally. And that's what E*Trade is really about. It's For Investors, By Investors (FIBI). Basically doing your own thing based upon the knowledge you've acquired from Wall Street.”
“After years of pondering pulling away from Chase Bank, this past year we finally made the change to Bank of Ann Arbor. This team is phenomenal! Dan Gilbert and Celeste Fletcher have been wonderful to work with. They are both so kind and especially responsive. If you're on the fence with a bank that's not worth your business... get off! Bank of Ann Arbor is where you want to go.”
“I went to this branch to have some documents notarized for my elderly mother. I went in, asked for the notary, then went to the car to get my mother. Jessie was the notary. She actually came out to the car and notarized the documents for my mother there, saving her the difficulty of getting out of the car and going into the bank!!!
You nailed it, Jessie! Awesome customer service!”
“I've always loved my bank but now I'm highly disappointed that they're closed on Saturdays plus they no longer stay open until 6pm on Fridays. I literally work the same hours they operate and I have no chance to ever get to the bank now.”
“I hate banking, but this branch lessens my hatred just a little bit. I don't do anything special. Just make change, cash checks, etc., but somehow it goes by much more quickly in this branch rather than most. Liz is well worth the and a great conversationalist if it's a dreary day and you need a little boost.”
“If you haven't stopped in the First Merchants Bank branch at Chesterfield and Maple, you should stop by.
Wes Jenkins, the manager, has created what reminds me of how banks operated before impersonal mega-banks started gobbling up our community banks. Wes and his team actually treated their clients like they were glad to see them and help them. Meg, a banker, has been helping me with my business account and personal accounts for years. She is always smiling, always helping, and just a joy to work with. Juliane, Dee, and Naji all know me by name and are just as willing to help when Wes or Meg aren't available.
I’ve built a great working relationship with this bank. If you are looking for a local customer-oriented place to bank, try them. I am glad I did. It's nice to know that there are still real bankers around who want to help me, not just their bottom line.”
