“My mom Barb has been telling me about this place for a while and I never went bc its about 20 mins away. We went finally and what a hidden gem! The nicest people work there and I have never seen lower meat prices. They are not a little lower- they are considerably lower. They left aldis and Walmart in the dust. I will never buy meat anywhere else. And they have some meat other places don't have, such as rabbit. Deli meat and cheeses were half the price of anywhere else. They went above and beyond and I will be back!”
“If you're someone who enjoys shopping local when you visit a city or community, market on the green should be your first stop in Toledo! It has items and products you're familiar with at bigger stores, but they also carry things that you'll only ever see at market. The prices are very fair and in some cases, much lower than any Walmart or Kroger but the quality never suffers. it's always so quiet and clean also. Great store, great staff and a great shopping experience. I highly recommend stopping by if you are ever in need of "a few things". :)”
“Extensive meat and deli selection and super fresh! Excellent service as well they go above and beyond for you. I purchased ground beef, pre seasoned New York strips, ready to heat and eat pork tamales and mexican lasagna. All of it was fire! Would highly recommend!”
“Erie Food Market is a fantastic addition to my life. Where I currently reside, Erie market is within close proximity. I am able to purchase groceries on a daily basis, on the other hand, I am able to buy odd and end items. Toiletries, items from chef’s cooking apparatus in addition to stationary items. Erie Food Market is very practical and feasible to my life.The employees are second to none. Respectful, courteous, and very customer service oriented. “The store was clean and the shelves pretty well stocked. They have a decent selection of grocery items with some lesser-known brands. We gambled on a few today and shall see. The cashier lanes were moving efficiently. The quarter for a cart thing is still weird to me and I left mine in the cart like always. I struggled between and 3 and 4 stars for the rating, but gave them the benefit of the doubt this time.”
“Lovely small town market with a delightful staff. Keeps a broader variety of staple, dry goods and produce items. Carries meat as well as frozen meals. Staff are incredibly friendly, and is an active supporter of charities and food banks in the community.”

“Excellent butcher shop. A good variety of groceries. Love their Danny’s spices. They make an excellent chicken pot pie. Prices are good. I love having to choose my meat instead of prepackaged. You see front and back. Employees are nice and helpful. One of my favorite stores to shop.”

“The food was delicious! They catered my friends wedding this past summer so I decided to order for a work party. They were so helpful when I didn't know what I wanted and walked me through the options and the process. They even helped me load it into my car in the rain! I'll definitely be back!”
“I came by the other day in a rush because I just needed to buy some meat for dinner on my way home from work. I looked this place up on google and it was 2 min from me so I went. I was so surprised to find that they sold ox tail!! They had two packages left and I bought both and took them home. It was somewhere around $11 total and they were reduced because they had to sell that day. I have never seen ox tail so affordable! I took them home and cooked them and the meat was delicious. My husband absolutely loved it. We have been eating it for the last couple days! So glad I stopped by! Will definitely be back again to shop for meats and other fresh goods.”

“I moved to texas but this was my local store they are good people who work there. They got a deli in the back I highly recommend those sub sandwiches, gyros, and especially the salad. It was a loaded salad, eggs, meats, the works! I really wish I could eat here again but I'm not 1000 miles away.”

“Very good and honest owners. I was in a rush one morning and stopped by to pick up a few things. The card machine stopped working and it was one of the few times I wasn’t carrying cash on me.A couple weeks go by and I received a phone call from Villa’s credit card company. They said Isaac looked into this and it did in fact charge my card and they were refunding both charges that him and I thought were canceled.There’s not many people that go through this effort to make things right. Especially without me even knowing.Thanks!”

The only issue is the lettuce. I can never find a decent head of lettuce but other than that, this location is safe, clean, the employees are friendly and the prices as always are great.
