I am not exactly sure about all the reviews, the room was serviceable, other then the TV not working. The bed/bathroom was clean, no bed bugs. It is about 10-15 min walk to Downtown/Comerica Park and 30 mins walk from Greektown. The area seems to look shady it really is not that bad.

Close to alot of places and a nice, quieter location. Decent rooms but the only thing id truly complain about is our heater didnt work and there was no hot water in the shower. Liked the lady at the counter, she was sweet. Overall not bad for what it is.

Have seen this hotel on the 1984 movie "Beverly Hills Cop (ft. Eddie Murphy)", glad to see it still there for almost 40 year later
