Detroit Dye House - home of brightlytwisted is a wonderful boutique and dye studio. The shop is very cute, stocked with beautiful ready-to-wear pieces and plenty of items for inspiration or purchase. The experience is absolutely awesome and so much fun, offering tie-dye classes where you can make your own custom garment. You can bring your own clothing or pick from their stocked items, including pieces like socks for gifts. The dye class instructors are helpful, patient, kind, and a joy to be around, assisting as much or as little as wanted. Dying requires only an open mind, with beautiful and endless dye color choices. The company also gives back to the community with special events. Pickup is a breeze. With an excellent and fun experience, many visitors have been multiple times and will definitely be back.

Great owners that provided good instruction. A fun experience that would be good for all ages PLUS they give back. Every tiedye session you do includes a pair of socks that is given back to those in need in the community. I will definitely be going back.

Tammy was so sweet and helpful! It was fun to just let go and be creative. I love that I got to bring my own clothes to tie dye too! Inner child healing energy from this place. So fun!
