3251 Deposit Dr NE, Grand Rapids“A beautiful and amazing hotel. Very accommodating for our golf trip and made all of our tee times for us in advance. Breakfast was delicious everyday with plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommend staying here.
Rooms: The rooms were kept very clean and plenty of space.
Nearby activities: There are multiple golf courses within 10 miles of the hotel. Plus many other stores and activities.
Walkability: There is a nearby restaurant that is within walking distance from the hotel.
Food & drinks: The breakfast is wonderful.”
“My husband and I stayed at this JW while we visited downtown Grand Rapids for a couple of days and we were not disappointed! We parked in their garage only a few steps from the hotel and didn't need our car until it was time to leave as there was so much to do within walking distance. Our room was clean and comfortable but what we enjoyed the most was the staff! Kaelen, Opal and everyone else we interacted with were both pleasant and very accommodating. They totally renewed our belief that some establishments still believe in the true spirit of hospitality. We had breakfast at the Margaux and it was a wonderful experience as well. Edith was a pleasant host and chef Elvis takes pride in assuring guests have a meal they will indeed enjoy. We plan to revisit in the future as we know our stay will only improve as they are currently updating the rooms.”

And the floor to ceiling window view of the city was impressive. Breakfast and staff were wonderful. Location was central to everything downtown. Easy to 5 star this one.”

2280 Northridge Dr NW, Walker“Great hotel! The only reason I’m leaving a 3 star is.1. Breakfast is not included with your stay, you have to pay. (Which I’ve never had at an IHG).2. The fire alarm system falsely went off at 1:55am and 7:44am and woke up everyone in the entire hotel. It was storming decently hard at night and I don’t blame the hotel at all, it was out of their control. The staff memeber at the front desk was on it ASAP and was on the phone sorting out the fire alarm instantly. It was just a bizarre series of events. Luckily I didn’t have to be to work till 1pm today. Usually I’m up and out at 5:45am.”

I've stayed here for months at a time with a great rate for rooms being off 28th st. And near the Airport. I would recommend staying here to anyone needing reasonable priced rooms...Rooms: Clean, quiet, great room serviceNearby activities: Close to businesses in walking distanceWalkability: Close to resteraunts and stores”
“Really nice Hilton property in downtown Grand Rapids. Close to everything downtown, and also has several very nice bars and restaurants, including a Ruth's Chris steakhouse. We stayed in the 24th floor of the tower, which had incredible views of the Grand River and the downtown area.”

It has been over a year since my last stay here, I was excited to return just because of the restaurant used real scrambled eggs. To my disappointment, that is no longer the case. It is not often to find a hotel that uses real products instead of instant heat and serve foods. I would not mind paying a few extra dollars per night for better quality food, and I'm sure others would agree. The staff is always friendly, and the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Granted, there are some updates and renovations that could be done. I was shocked to see a dryer from the 1980's in the guest laundry room.I still enjoyed my stay despite the little things that could be better.Rooms: Clean, comfortableNearby activities: Restaurants, shopping and activities all within walking distanceSafety: It seems a safe locationWalkability: Lots of everything close byFood & drinks: Could be better”

3000 Lake Eastbrook Blvd SE, Grand Rapids“Staybridge Suites Grand Rapids: Spacious Suites, Stellar Gym, But One Annoying HiccupWe recently stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Grand Rapids, Michigan with our family of 6 for a debate tournament. While we were primarily out and about for the competition, the hotel provided a comfortable and convenient home base for our busy schedule.Spacious Suites: The two-bedroom suite was fantastic! It offered plenty of space for our family to spread out. We appreciated having two full bathrooms, which helped us get ready quickly in the mornings. Plus, the 1/2 kitchen was perfect for storing snacks and drinks, and came in handy for light meals after long days. The TV was a nice way to unwind in the evenings.Fantastic Gym: A big highlight of our stay was the hotel gym. It was truly the best we've ever seen in a hotel! They had a wide variety of dumbbells, a treadmill, an elliptical, and ample space for floor exercises like jumping jacks. This was a lifesaver for staying active during our busy trip.Good Breakfast & Service: The breakfast was good, with a variety of options to suit different tastes. The service staff were friendly and helpful.Trash Issue: The only real downside to our stay was that housekeeping never came to take out the trash during our entire 4-day stay. This resulted in a rather large and unpleasant trash bag accumulating in the corner of the room.Overall: Despite the trash issue, we had a positive stay at the Staybridge Suites. The spacious suites, fantastic gym, and good breakfasts made it a great choice for our family. However, neglecting trash removal definitely brought down the experience a bit. If housekeeping can be more consistent, this hotel would be an easy five-star recommendation.”

“Nice hotel with a happy vibe. Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Pool and limited gym. Gym has a Peleton bike! But it wouldn't connect to the Internet :(We did have a problem with a clogged toilet in our room. We reported the problem, and sadly when we returned the problem had not been fixed.Walkability: Nothing but Home Depot in walking distance - you will need a car.”

3221 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids“We were here for 4.5 weeks due to my husbands work and they accepted my large and small dog. It’s nicer than most Motel 6 properties and the staff is really amazing and with us being there for extended time I got acquainted with some of the staff which was appreciated being as it’s just my doggos 12-14 hrs a day! Tonya, Pam and Allie were all so helpful and made us feel at home!! This place is a diamond in rough with its awesome staff and rooms are decent and clean! The housekeeping staff does a great job!”
“Excellent location shopping food and attractions are nearby. The rooms were very well kept, cleaned and larger than I expected. The staff was extremely hospitable.Rooms: Very clean, modernized, and much larger than most other hotel rooms.Nearby activities: There's tons of food close by, there's shopping close by, like target and Marshalls.Walkability: The hotel sits right in the center of multiple plazas containing eateries add shopping locations, all within 5 to 10 minutes walking distanceFood & drinks: There are quite a few fast food restaurants as well as multiple dine-in restaurants, as well as a few bars.”
“Upon check-in we were informed that a free supper would be served each night. The food was simple (i.e. sloppy joes, tacos and salad etc.) and delicious. Beautiful courtyard and pool area. Friendly staff. Only one small complaint... of the 3 nights we were there we opted to not have the room cleaned except for 1 day and although they took the garbage out and gave us fresh towels, they didn't make the bed (no new sheets, no problem but would have expected a made bed) I will definitely come back here again.”
“This was a very clean room, service was great, new mattress, new towels, carpet was clean. This is a clean and good place.Food & drinks: Its close the gardens, and has a great restaurant right next to it, called rio.”

The hot tub is gone but the pool and exercise area are very nice. I was surprised at how quiet it was during the day when my 3rd-shift working boyfriend was sleeping. The beds are pretty firm. They gave us 4 pillows for each bed. It felt like a home away from home and we really appreciated it.”
“The Place is ok. Nice people who work there. If you are there for the right reasons (ie. SLEEP & MORE SLEEP) then it's great. If your intentions wander, meander, or diverge from the initial purposes mentioned formerly, your in for one heck of a weekend”

2725 Buchanan Ave SW, Grand Rapids“Whenever we plan on staying on the south side of GR my girl, and I stay at the best Western. I do have to say It was a little Bizzarre this time the hotel was full of what the World now calls immigrant folks thanks to the governor of Michigan and joe biden . There was a lot of folks here that didn’t speak English the front desk even had a hard time communicating with them and luckly there was no problems. When these kind of things happen, you have to face the fact that there is a possibility of decline in business, property, area again thx to joe. I’d like to hope and think this won’t happen so with my fingers crossed We will see. we have always enjoyed staying here since this location has opened. The staff & front desk are always very courteous, and the rooms are always very clean.”
“We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The people at the front desk were great also. The free breakfast was nice also. We will definitely come back here and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing one in this area!”

“I’m a fan of the Delta variant of the Marriott network. They’re consistent 3-4 star properties with decent amenities. The Grand Rapids location serves that niche. The rooms are updated though in need of basic repairs. The office chair was missing most of the vinyl. The drapes had holes. A coat peg was falling off the walls. The restaurant was fine and the food was pretty good. Service was rough as the place was short staffed in the evening as well as for breakfast.”

3524 28th St SE, Grand Rapids“When I book a cheapo hotel room, I'm looking for a place to shower and sleep, and this place did both for me very well.THE GOOD:- the front desk was pleasant in all encounters- no weird smells- no visible mold/stains on bathroom fixtures- bed felt and smelt clean- fresh roll of toilet paper- fridge was clean and cold- AC was crisp and cold- outlets near bed worked to charge my phone- I tore apart my bedding in search of bedbug residue and saw ZERO EVIDENCE in my room of those pesky jerksTHE BAD:- pillows were flat- front desk had no more pillows to give- blanket was kinda thin, turned off the AC and dealt with itTHE NOTEWORTHY:- there was a cigarette burn in the blanket lol- someone was vaping in the hallway when I checked in- one of the exterior doors near my room didn't work to get back insideThis is a solid hotel. By all means expect a swanky joint or a boutique experience, but it definitely does the job of being a place to shower, sleep, and charge one's phone. Would book again.”

5131 28th St SE, Grand Rapids“This is exactly what's expected from a Red Roof Inn. Pretty good rooms, decent location, and relatively good service. If you're looking for a lovely place to stay, this isn't going to meet your needs but will definitely suffice if you want a cheap place to crash for the night. I will say, one member of my party had a very dirty room and the staff offered a full refund. In general, the rooms aren’t dirty by any means, but aren't top tier either. Overall, pretty goof place to stay.Rooms: Note that these were after I slept in them. Pretty nice rooms”
“One of my go-to hotels in Grand Rapids. The service is always friendly and the rooms are nice. Breakfast is good and I like the pool. When the booking company messed up the dates, they worked with us to get us into a room anyway. I will definitely be back next time I am in town.”
