“I decided to edit my post as the original was based on my initial impression. I still feel they're a solid four stars and this is coming from a former collision repair guy. Its apparent they're focused on the customer service satisfaction. If I had a question they were prompt and timely to respond. The location is compact and difficult to find parking. The entrance is was less intuitive to find from the main road. While a majority of the services provided are on site, they are still reliant on external vendors to do specialized work, e.g., calibrations. Completion of the project was a lot longer than anticipated and it would have been nice to have a better understanding of this going in. Its my understanding that supply chain issues created numerous delays (and our car isn't high end) in parts availability. Just ask clear questions up front. And lastly the insurance company and Gerber seemed to work very well together. Overall my wife and I were pleased. Hopefully in the future they could provide a shuttle service, as that was the only hiccup we encountered to and from. Otherwise, we're still quite happy with the services rendered. Thank you Gerber.”

“Awesome experience during something that is generally a headache. Lydia is a great office manager and communicates very well, they provide updates throughout the entire process and my repair was completed a bit ahead of schedule! The quality of repair is well done and not noticeable compared to the surrounding area, paint matches perfectly and they even detailed the inside of my vehicle as well. They managed payment efficiently with my insurance provider, all I had to do was drop off my car and pick it up shortly after, no hoops to jump through or waiting for reimbursement everything was streamlined and efficient. “You just got into an accident, that caused major damage to your car. What are the first things that go through your mind? First, I need to call my insurance company, second how much is this going to cost me, third, can I afford the premium to fix my car and finally, who can I trust to give me a fair price to fix my car.
This is a lot to process in a short period of time, and you are faced with hard decisions. What I learned is the insurance company will pressure you to go with their repair shop, and there is a reason why they do this.
Not understanding the process and not fully trusting my insurance company, I took my car to the repair shop the insurance company recommended. They quoted $4,000 repair minus $850 deductible I had to pay up front. Now I am at the third step, can I afford the premium to fix my car. If you are like me, an average person living paycheck to paycheck, I did not have a savings of $850. I started to research my options on the internet and found, The Collision Shop in the city of Warren. I called the Collision Shop and spoke with Ray, who explained to me his repair shop will waive my premium thus saving me money. Ray explained to me that insurance companies want you to use their recommended repair shop because their shops give insurance companies kick backs instead of giving the car owner the savings.
Trust me I was hesitant but Ray gave me the assurance that he could give me a quality repair and a huge savings. The decision was easy trust Ray, receive a quality repair and save $850.
When my insurance company realized my car was not at their recommend repair shop, I had several heated conversations with the insurance rep. I called Ray and he advised me to stop speaking with the insurance rep and let him handle the process. Again, trusting Ray, I let him deal with the insurance company.
In a short period of time Ray contacted me with the news my car has been repaired and the $850 premium was waved. Not only did Ray save me $850 but the work done on my car was so professional I did not even notice the car was ever in an accident.
In the future if I am ever in need of an honest quality car repair shop I will be calling Ray at, The Collision Shop in Warren, where they pass the savings on to customers.”
“SO thankful I did my research and found Master Tech Collision to fix my car after an accident. At-fault driver’s insurance (Progressive) wanted me to use their in network shops but none of them seemed good so I found my own. Impeccable work. Both my passenger side doors were hit along with the mirror on my Mazda CX-30. Master Tech made my car look brand new including exact color match. They also took the time to clean the inside of my car. Just be prepared that it may take upwards of 3-4 weeks but well worth the wait for solid work done. Highly recommend”
