“This is a very large and very beautiful country store. Chock full of unique items and seasonal products/gifts. Room by room, gorgeous things to discover but pricey (in my opinion). Also we did find that the employees were not that friendly. We weren't greeted or acknowledged in any way and I kind of expected that as it seemed like a family type store. We did enjoy browsing all the knick knacks and would come back again to shop around. Worth the stop if you like home decor items- there's tons to choose from!”

This little mall has the coolest shops and the best one is found gallery. I purchased art supplies including a sketch book of hand made paper. If your visiting Ann Arbor stop by the kerrytown Mall and please visit the found gallery. Oh! wonderful customer service. A Must Visit when in Ann Arbor.”

“Visited this neat shop (on a whim) in celebration of my birthday and wife's permission to get myself something interesting. This proved a great old store with exactly the extraordinary collection of things we were hoping to find today, and lucky to stumble into. I ended up with a barn owl wooden puzzle display piece befitting of my particular style and search for quality (and yes, I found the mouse)! My wife celebrated too, in finding herself a unique nesting doll in her color and personality. We also found posh soaps and had a friendly chat with the clerk about the area and this wonderful place. Whimsy fulfilled, fond memory collected. Highly recommend for both the local resident and the next out of town rambler.”

“Quaint shop filled with handmade goods sourced via suppliers and artisans associated with the Fair Trade Federation. Great selection, store is organized and staff and volunteers are friendly. Prices are actually very reasonable given that you’re not shopping mass-produced goods, AND you can feel good about not contributing to capitalist entities. Shop can be easy to miss located next to bigger name brands (Shinola is next door, for example), but it’s squeezed in there on the east side of Main near Shalimar. Pop in and check it out!”

“I was given a gift of one of their windchime/bells, so I looked in on the site to find out the story! Ultra-high quality and heirloom quality craftsmanship! Beautiful clear tone that carries on for a long time--meditative and restful to savor and appreciate! It's much nicer than having a lot of unremarkable tinkling!”

“Pat did the glass for our deck barrier fence quite a while back and it still is looking great. Very easy to work with and came in way below the other places we got quotes from. He also did a sealed window replacement for a damp spot. The original had condensation in the inside but the replacement still looks great a few years later. I just called him for some pieces of hardened glass and he got them to me, hand delivered in a few days, the other place henderson glass said it would take about a month. His prices are great, highly recommended!”

“My husband purchased a vintage art deco necklace for me when we were visiting Ann Arbor. It needed a few extra links added, so they sent it to their jeweler. We just received the necklace and it is even more stunning than I remember! Not only that, but the customer service was amazing! “What an excellent buying experience. Fierra was both knowledgeable and able to handle multiple customers as they came through the door. We never felt like we were waiting and always felt cared for. Fierra show us three type of bed styles and mattress thicknesses and was patient with all of our questions. In the end, we chose a split i8 mattress and bed frame. We are both so excited!! “Such a cute Ann Arbor (hidden?) gem that I will always make a stop at to check out. It's located on the second floor of the Kerrytown Market & Shops. If you're going up the red stairs from the downstairs grocery store/entrance closest to the farmer's market, it'll be the first store on your left past the Kerrytown chime. 16 Hands is just an absolutely wonderful store, stocked to the brim with so many unique goodies and gifts. When I say unique, I mean unique - one of a kind! There are so many things here that I have genuinely never seen anywhere else, and I'm someone who naturally gravitates to tchotchke stores already and would like to think I have seen a vast selection already! There's always something new here each time I go, so I strongly recommend that everyone come and take a lap around this store to see what treasures are lying in wait to be discovered by you. Prices are reasonable and have a great range of options for all kinds of budgets. Highly recommend checking this shop, and frankly all the second floor Kerrytown shops out! 16 Hands is by far my favorite though!”

“I love this store , they have great selections and most of the employees are really awesome. I would give this store five stars but there are..some employees in the store I have issues with. While I was shopping I overheard one of the mangers (Threasa) yelling at an employee on the sales floor. Just ripping into the poor kid and being really nasty. I haven't really stopped in since.i usually like this store alot better because the staff are way nicer than at ypsilanti and it's a smaller store which helps with my anxiety. But after hearing that women just be well... not so nice to her staff. I don't know if I'll shop there while she's in the store.Props to the rest of the employees though. Good luck!!”

“Love the selections that I've been seeing both in the store and on the website. It would be nice to see more items displayed in the store in sizes above a women's large. Sales and discounts also don't always sync up been online and in store.This location is clean and usually pretty neatly organized. Easy to see items on display.”

Then, delivery was great! Didn’t have to wait too long for everything either - a couple of months for everything in our primary bedroom and living room.
