“This is a very large and very beautiful country store. Chock full of unique items and seasonal products/gifts. Room by room, gorgeous things to discover but pricey (in my opinion). Also we did find that the employees were not that friendly. We weren't greeted or acknowledged in any way and I kind of expected that as it seemed like a family type store. We did enjoy browsing all the knick knacks and would come back again to shop around. Worth the stop if you like home decor items- there's tons to choose from!”

“This is my absolute favorite gift shop! I'm never disappointed. I can shop here having no idea what I want to buy for someone, and then get inspired...every time. I usually end up buying something for myself too. Sigh. There are worse problems! The staff is cheerful and helpful. They'll wrap gifts for you if you're in a hurry, and come on, how fun is it to walk in and walk through bubbles (check out the photo)!”

“Samples are great so you can try all the cherry flavored items. Jams, chocolates, juice, salsa, wine....and that is just a few of the items. Great location, amazing selection and if you love cherries, it is a must visit store.”

“I went here due to the Sweetest Yelp event. I found parking pretty easy which is typically not the case while in downtown Ann Arbor. I went into the location and was met by the worker in the front. She was very friendly and helpful. I asked how long they had been there and was told since 2012. That is a pretty long time. I was surprised I had never visited here. I browsed the store which was larger than I first thought. There are a variety of things in the store. There is clothing, books, dishware, spices and other various items that were pretty interesting and unique located in this store. Some items had to U of M logo and some had some pretty nifty sayings. I decided to grab a coffee cup or 2. I thought that my friend would love the cup with the special "This is how sexy I look in the morning" saying. They also had a variety of Christmas items that I grabbed one of. This was a great and interesting spot to check out and view all of the items located throughout the place. It was a great place to check out and see the many unique items.”

“Amazing little shop. Prices are not marked up like most shops in this area and are honestly very reasonable. So much to look at and soak in. The nice lady who was running the store was extremely friendly and helpful. We bought earrings and a bracelet for my wife that were very colorful and affordable. We also bought my daughter a bracelet. After some more shopping around the area we eventually returned to shop and were able to find our oldest son an OM wind chime we think he will find interesting. Would recommend and will return.”

“Visited this neat shop (on a whim) in celebration of my birthday and wife's permission to get myself something interesting. This proved a great old store with exactly the extraordinary collection of things we were hoping to find today, and lucky to stumble into. I ended up with a barn owl wooden puzzle display piece befitting of my particular style and search for quality (and yes, I found the mouse)! My wife celebrated too, in finding herself a unique nesting doll in her color and personality. We also found posh soaps and had a friendly chat with the clerk about the area and this wonderful place. Whimsy fulfilled, fond memory collected. Highly recommend for both the local resident and the next out of town rambler.”

“Quaint shop filled with handmade goods sourced via suppliers and artisans associated with the Fair Trade Federation. Great selection, store is organized and staff and volunteers are friendly. Prices are actually very reasonable given that you’re not shopping mass-produced goods, AND you can feel good about not contributing to capitalist entities. Shop can be easy to miss located next to bigger name brands (Shinola is next door, for example), but it’s squeezed in there on the east side of Main near Shalimar. Pop in and check it out!”

“My fiancé has been asking for anything from Edible Arrangements for the last three years and I am so glad I got one yesterday for him. It was presented so beautifully and the fruit was super fresh. Will be placing more orders in the future with the Ann Arbor store ❤️ thank you for your hard work!!”

“Love the aclectic assortment of items you find @ Sleeping Tiger. Located in our local Briarwood Mall in A²(AnnArborMI) its not like most the uppity, trendy stores in the majority of the Mall. It has "import/export" goods from what seems like, all over the world , and back again. I've bought lots of gifts for ppl here, and not gag gift type things. Cool lamps, Chakra stones, Reki candles, smudging supplies, ect for my eccentric babysitter, handmade(pretty sure it was)picture frame for my sister, old school toys for my kids. Slinkies, Chinese finger traps, lucky rabbits feet. Desk pendulums, hourglasses of varying lengths of time, dream catcher's, swords! The list goes on really. Definitely worth checking out. They've got different size and color glass mosaic lamps! Great find! Some items can be a little pricey. But you'll find a wide, full spectrum of prices, finding things to fit Any budget. Go in n have a look! Bet ya find something cool!”

“Surprised by the couple negative reviews! The ladies in the store couldn't have been more accommodating to me. Had a pleasant experience and went back to purchase one thing I had my eye on, walked out with three! The inventory is not what you'd see in an online platform, but was happy to be able to touch and feel potential purchases rather than put my faith in ordering online!”
