“I love that this place is open later than most places! Makes it real convenient for after work! I have been to this location several times now between my previous car and the new rims I had delivered to this spot. They’re professional and proficient! The staff has always been nice to me and understanding when it comes to any thing I have needed while they’ve worked on my vehicles! Greg is outstanding at his job! not only is he very professional but he’s extremely knowledgeable and that’s huge in my book!
I also wanna quickly mention another employee whom stood out to me whos name was Mamadou , he was so polite and friendly that i will absolutely tell people to go there! When you’re at a place like this .. and you’re spending more money than you’d like to, it makes a huge difference when the person is friendly polite and just easy to deal with! Someone’s attitude really is contagious and I thank u for having a good one with me even later in the day before closing time too! Firestone offers roadside protection with their tiers that I absolutely recommend pursuing!! It’s has saved me not only lots of money and I really can’t say enough good things about this place! “I had a nail in one of my tires and was slowly leaking. Walked in to the shop and was attended immediately. After accessment, the tire was not repairable because it was close to the sidewall. My tires are all around 7/32 thread depth. They offered a used tire that was very similar in thread depth for a reasonable price, including balancing and installation. Was in and out in 1 hour. Pretty good for a walk in. While waiting, many people also dropped by and asked for help either for alignment or replacing a tire. Highly recommended. I prefer local shops to chains and this is why.”

“The name may have changed to Mavis Tires & Brakes (It used to be NTB, then NTW.) but the service remains great. I started coming here in the 90s, when I moved to Woburn, and have had all six of my cars serviced here over the years. Today was brake rotors and pads all around. I asked a lot of questions and they showed me all, both the old and the newly installed hardware. Friendly and professional service, as always.”

“The price was very fair to have 4 new 19” all season tires mounted and balanced. Service writer and technician both did a good job.Car was done ahead of time and I was called when it was ready. Tires were balanced nicely and my car rides smoothly at highway speeds.It would have been nice if my winter wheels were placed in tire bags before going back into my vehicle, but to be fair I never asked for that nor was I promised it. That was just how we did things at the shop I used to work at.”

It only took 1.5 hours or so for them to diagnose it and they didn’t add any other random charges as well to it that people often do. Prices were fair!! ? If you’re in a pinch go do these guys. I don’t think I’d trust most other places.
The waiting area was big, outlets on the wall if you want to work and plenty of seats/couch space.
Lastly, I was so glad they talked to me in a good tone, explained things well, and didn’t treat me like I was an idiot like a lot of car mechanic places do. (Talking to you Honda Fresh Pond!?)”
“I am so glad I found this place. I don’t like going to the large dealerships to get maintenance on my car so I called Hometown auto and had a great experience. They were very respectful. The job was done quickly and it was nowhere near the price I had been paying at other places. In addition I had, experienced driving through floodwater about two months ago and called them to find out if my car should be seen for possible damage. They were again so helpful, understanding and offered for me to come by the next day so they could check my car out. I highly recommend Hometown Auto! I will be back.”
“Was trailering my boat and hit a bar in the road. Bent the rim and the tire got destroyed. Boat and trailer were in the side of road. I drove to the shop and these guys fixed my rim and got me on back out the door in 15 min! Made a bad situation a whole lot better as no one else had the rim that I needed.”
