“We stayed at the Granville House for a long weekend excursion to the Berkshires & absolutely fell in love. Our room was comfortable, cozy & immaculate - we especially enjoyed borrowing records to play in the evenings while we took turns taking luxurious baths! Terri & Terry are the perfect hosts - pleasant & cheerful & full of great tips & suggestions. Breakfast was a luxurious way to start our mornings & we lamented at the end that we had been so busy having our adventures we actually wished we had been able to spend more time just relaxing at Granville! I see many returns to this wonderful slice of paradise in our future.”
“Rooms: Rooms were clean. Very limited storage for clothing - two very small drawers and a small closet for a room with two queen beds. No hooks for towels to dry, so you really want to request fresh towels.
Nearby activities: A few small shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Beautiful area, plenty to do within short driving distance
Food and drinks: Found it disappointing that coffee was not set up in the lobby.”
“Beautiful, comfortable, perfectly located, lovely breakfast & cocktail hour, delightful bed, luxurious amenities, clean as a whistle. And with all that, the people were so awesome, kind & attentive. I can't wait to go back.”

55 Lee Rd, Lenox“Resort is now called Miraval, and the golf course Wyndhurst. Only went for golf, and can say the course is in good condition. Greens are firm, but run a little slow. Fairways lush, and rough is penal as it should be. Definitely will be back.”

2 Kemble St, Lenox“The Kemble is now a property that can be rented out, it does not function as an inn anymore. We rented the property for the weekend for a small wedding of 50 people. We had an absolutely amazing time!
We did have about 5 different random parties just walk right into the house, thinking that it was still a public inn. Please don’t just show up unannounced ! And for guests, forewarning to keep the doors locked.
Otherwise, we had the best time ever. Our guests could not stop talking about how legendary the venue was and we truly had the wedding “of the season” !!”

415 Stockbridge Rd, Great Barrington“Sort of ok basic stay. Room cleanliness questionable. Musty odor throughout. Not horrible if you need a place to crash. Hampton inn down the road better at similar price.”
“Euro-American style hospitality: expect genuine discourse with the Innkeeper...
The two of us and our Yellow Lab, spent three midweek days at the Inn for some serenity and snowboarding! We particularly enjoyed the basic, and natural comforts the Inn provides.
Quiet, peaceful and reasonably priced is all we expected, and fortunately received....

55 Lee Rd, Lenox“Overall, I had a great experience at Miraval, but it doesn't feel very luxury compared to the competitors in the space. It feels like you're staying at a nice Hyatt. The spa was a standout experience as both services I booked were excellent. We took more than one cooking class and they were great, not intensive and delicious. The room didn't have any hand lotion, which I would consider a pretty basic amenity even in a 3 star hotel. We had to call the front desk to request. Our shower head was also broken and we had to call for a repair. This seems like a basic quality issue that housekeeping would notice and proactively address. We did have an issue with incorrect charges that took me 3 phone calls to get someone to call me back to address, which also seems excessive considering the price and class of the hotel. All in all, I would go back again.”

1350 W Housatonic St, Pittsfield“This hotel is a nice safe area, which is important to me as I’m traveling with a family. It was clean and the staff were nice. my only small issue were the pillows they were squares and very thick and hard. I prefer a standard regular pillow.
Safety: This was in a good location and I felt very safely in my car in the parking lot .”

194 Pittsfield Rd, Lenox“Stayed there for Mothers Day. Very nice rooms, love the custom scent they have at the hotel. My only issue was that my daughter payed for a Mothers day package. Wasn't what she paid for. Flowers and wine flowers were beautiful, we are not wine drinkers. The gift bag that's where things went wrong. Told to take the snacks from the mini bar...wasn't a gift bag.”
5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
17 Main St, South Egremont“Egremont Village Inn is truly the most amazing inn I have ever stayed at. I stayed with a large group for a weekend and we had the most incredible time. The inn is incredibly unique, Sara's place was open for coffee, breakfast, and lunch, and the barn has incredible food and live music. Nick, the innkeeper and owner took great care of us the entire weekend and made us all feel at home. We were so comfortable (the beds were all so comfy!) and I'm already planning my next trip back. If I could give the inn more than 5 stars I would!!!”
5PM - 2AM
One West St, Pittsfield“Everything was great except there wasn't hot water for morning shower. Not sure if there'll be any compensation as for I only stayed one night and had to leave that morning, without showering!
Food & drinks: Restaurant on 2nd floor, very good food.”
“I loved staying at the Shaker Mill Inn. When they say “pet-friendly,” they really mean it. They left a cute box with food and water bowls, a blanket, and a few treats in our room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast options were very nice. It is quiet, private, and peaceful, and also very convenient to lots of major attractions in the Berkshires, including Tanglewood and Kripalu. I will definitely be back!
Noteworthy details: Pet-friendly!”
