“I had to go to Holmes Family Vet today for help with my cockatiels eye discomfort. Dr. Holmes came in and handled him so well, was very knowledgeable! This was his first time having to go to a veterinary office and I could tell he was comfortable. Our technician was Morgan and she was also wonderful. She listened to all my questions and helped to explain what I need to do regarding care at home. I recommend this place to anyone!”

“This place is really great , they are very friendly and have state of the art equipment and a knowledgeable team ,I took my dog in for xrays and I couldn't believe how clear the pictures came out compared to others online. My dog has had alot of issues and I don't trust her going under anesthesia for a mri, but with a place like this I can get a close reading and a clean xray because of there team and technology, Higly recommend.”

“Absolutely love Dr. McMillan and have been going to her since the 80s with my birds, greyhounds, cats and chihuahuas❣️ I love her homeopathic treatment for my furbabies. She is the reason I learned Reiki and got into holistic treatments for my pets and myself. She has seen me through thick and thin over the years. My greyhound Silver was one of the first clients with Sterling Impressions.
I am in the process of moving and will miss her and her staff dearly.”

“On April 6, 2023 our beloved Boxer Thor collapsed and stopped breathing. After a few moments, we were able to get him back and rushed him to Tufts where we would eventually learn he had heart disease and something called Addisons. It was a traumatic experience but the care he received saved his life and put us on a path that we believe gave us an extra 19 months with our best guy. He would have to returned monthly, sometimes more during the next 19 months and during this time, we had the honor of working with Dr. Sonya Karchemskiy for his Addisons and Dr. Hannah Melhorn for his cardio, both of whom we believe are two of the best medical professionals we have ever had the chance to be around in our lives. Dr. Sonya and her team we saw for Thor's monthly shots and they always took good care of him and we appreciate her so much. She always made us feel like we were in good hands and on some of the harder days when Thor was struggling, really spent the extra time as a person to comfort us and help us get through the mental side of having a sick dog. Dr. Melhorn will always have a special place in our hearts. Much like Dr. Sonya's team, complete professionalism to the 10th degree, always had our backs, was always honest and took the time to make sure we fully understood what was going on. Obviously as a heart doctor, we are dealing with some really scary stuff, and Thor's April collapse would not be his last and it was never less scary than the time before. Dr. Melhorn was always there. She made sure we were always taken care of. It's not just that she checked in on us when Thor was staying in the ER on many occasions, she would sometimes even call us from her home. The amount of love and compassion she showed us and especially Thor was next level and we will NEVER forget it. I would not want anyone else if we ever needed to see a vet again. On one of Thor's last ER visits, the ER doctor that was checking in with us said something to us and called her Hannah and I said who is that and she said oh, Dr. Melhorn. I believe Dr. Sonya introduces herself that way because her last name is a little tougher than Melhorn, but this was the first time I had actually realized Dr. Melhorn's name was Hannah and I made a joke with her about it and it was kind of our thing. I bring this up because I believe in professionalism and it was an honor to call her Dr. Melhorn and if she wanted us to it would have been an honor to learn how to say Dr. Karchemskiy every time. I feel like I met Hannah on Thor's last night, though. Thor passed away around midnight on a Saturday night and Dr. Melhorn was not there because, well, it was a midnight on a Saturday night. If I am being honest, we already accepted it was a distinct possibility we wouldn't actually see her again. That's when Hannah showed up. At Midnight. On a Saturday night. She was there for Thor, and even more, us, until his last breath. As a person. With love and compassion for Thor. It meant everything to us. It made one of the hardest nights of our life just a little easier and my wife and I will never forget it and forever be thankful of how special that made us feel. Is Tufts perfect all the time? Of course not. But I believe they try to be and that they really do care. I've had a number of vets and they've always been solid, but few have ever made me feel as comfortable and appreciated the way Dr. Melhorn and Dr. Karchemskiy did and we will be forever thankful. I believe they gave us nearly two more years with our beloved Thor and having seen a little bit behind the curtains having to have to been there too often, I know the money we had to spend here was well worth it. It wasn't cheap, but I know it was fair for the care, love and compassion he received, and the memories we got to make with Thor these last 20ish months have been worth every penny. So thank you to Dr. Melhorn and Dr. Karchemskiy and their teams, but most importantly, thank you to Hannah and Sonya. For being real. For taking care of us. While I am not looking f”
