“I waited to put a review in on Full Plate Fitness because they had some turnover in staff, all due to college graduation and military commitments. I can honestly say it hasn’t lost a beat. Matt , the head instructor has picked up the torch where Megan ( former head trainer) has left off. The feeling and camaraderie of this gym is the best I’ve seen since my time in structured, compulsory programs. I want to go to the gym again!If you want to make changes , this is the place to go. It’s real community, that is gently guided by some of the most dynamic and impressive young people I’ve seen.”

“Steel Vault is amazing. Weither you are new to crossfit, or have been at it for some time, the coaching staff will keep you on target. I am new to fitness in general and was worried about crossfit to begin with. Everything is scalable to your abilities and the staff does an unbelievable job in making sure you understand the movements. I should have joined Steel Vault a long time ago.”

“I was looking for something other then the plant fitness a place with direction and motivation. I found it with Burn 30. The plan that Tim put together for me has made a massive change for me. Rachel who coaches the classes that I go to frequently is excellent. The people who have been there awhile are super friendly and don't look judge. I have been here just over 10 weeks and workout 3 to 4 times a week, have lost about 5 inches in my belly and am down 2 pant sizes already. I recommend coming here and have fun while you meet your goals. Thank you Team Burn 30 for everything you do.”

“I signed up for the Open weeks ago but was traveling for 24.1. I contacted several boxes to join in doing 24.1 and the only one that called me back (right away I might add) was David at Nasty Habit CrossFit. I did the workout there today and he as well as the other athletes were so welcoming and so supportive!! The space was very well equipped. I highly recommend this gym!”

“The gym is alright maybe would want a smith machine that goes straight up and down and not all tilted but other then that got a lot of equipments. The personal trainer there is really super knowledgeable and knows what he is talking about. Highly recommend anyone this personal trainer due to how well he explains and fixes forms and teaches compared to some other planet fitness I’ve been too.”

“Exceptional facility! My wife and I have been members here since we moved to the area in 2000, right through the Gold's, Club Fitness and Powerhouse years. The same owner has continually improved all the cardio and resistance equipment with a nice mix of free weights, plate loaded and selectorized cable machines that are perfectly maintained. New top quality pieces coming every few months! A second workout area has just been opened up featuring a strength and conditioning area along with a lower body shaping section. Staff is friendly and receptive and everything is suprisingly clean for a gym. They sell name brand popular clothes, frozen meals and supplements at the front desk and they are all fairly priced along with memberships. Nice mix of members (who are mostly well behaved and courteous) from fitness oriented folks all the way up to a some hardcore bodybuilders and powerlifters, which is reflected in the variety of the equipment for different goals. In total, the place is quite large but it can get crowded on weekdays between 4 and 7 PM (like most gyms) so plan accordingly. I Highly recommend and appreciate this facility. Thank you Steve, Alli, Adam, Misty, Lil John, Steve (custodian) and the entire staff for all you do.Scott K.”

“Jim is a great personal trainer. He is extremely knowledgeable in what he does and personalizes workouts to fit the clients’ needs. He is kind, supportive, and passionate. He is a great motivator and pushes his clients to do their best but knows that everyone’s best looks different day to day.When I started working out, I didn’t know what to do, especially with upper body exercises. The machines bored me and I would get discouraged easily. I started with Jim saying I my goal was to get toned and to feel better about myself, which at that point I hadn’t felt good about myself in a while. Jim listened to what I liked to do working out, and what I struggled with. He made a workout plan that I ended up really enjoying, and I started seeing some results relatively quickly. I saw the weights I was lifting and working with going up, and I started to get more confidence in myself. After a few months I am seeing that I am toning up how I wanted, and I feel so much better about myself. I am now looking in the mirror feeling happy, and not pointing out everything I want to change. Jim motivated me to work hard and push through when the workouts became tough. He has been supportive and made me realize that my best may look different sometimes and that is okay. He created a workout plan that allows me and my husband to work together, and we are both seeing results we wanted. We now look forward to going to the gym even if the workouts aren’t our favorite exercises. Jim has been so supportive and understanding when work or being sick keeps us from our appointments. He has been so wonderful to work with and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to start a healthier lifestyle!”

“A nice multi-leveled gym in the heart of Downtown Springfield. Next to many amenities location-wise. Regarding the gym, it’s clean however equipment is getting outdated. It could use a whole refresh for the dumbbells in my personal opinion. Tons of equipment to choose from so any lifter from beginner to yolked can usually lift with what they want/need. Quite a bit of people, but that’s okay. Overall, for the price it is highly worth it and trialing it with the free pass is worth a shot.”
