“Recently had my BMW X3 serviced, and I must say, the experience was quite positive. My vehicle had been experiencing some issues with the seat belt sensor electronics . I’ve had BMW’s all my life and have taken it from the dealership to local shops with the prices being higher and lower but the experience has always been mid. Here’s how it went:
Service Quality: The technicians were highly knowledgeable and professional. They quickly diagnosed the electronic issue . They also did not try to do any add on service like all the other shops and specially the stealership has done !
Repair Process: The repair process was smooth and efficient. The service center kept me informed throughout, explaining the issues in detail and providing a clear estimate of the costs involved.
Cost: While BMW repairs can be on the pricier side, I found the costs to be affordable and reasonable given the quality of service and the parts used. The total cost for the repairs was within the estimated range provided initially, with no unexpected charges.
Performance Post-Repair: The car feels as good as new (as a used car can be ?) and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome.
Overall Experience: I am very pleased with the repair service for my X3. The professionalism, transparency, and quality of work were top-notch. I would highly recommend North Shore to any BMW owner in need of repairs.

PS: At the same time there was an issue with my hood latch that kept stuck thus the hood latch sensor would go on. They cleaned it up and got it back to normal and did even charge ! The thing is I didn’t even tell them about the issue which means they really do inspect the car !”

“I heartily recommend Skillman Services. Andy’s approach is extremely straight-forward, which I appreciate. He has an excellent system of communication, sending a link to a quick breakdown of their findings on inspecting the car with color-coded categories from least to most urgent issues, and then follows up with a phone call to discuss findings and plan of action (he called as I did not stay at the shop). He sends out another report and follows up again with another phone call after the work is completed. I felt informed and therefore able to make educated decisions without ever feeling pushed or rushed to make specific choices. All work was done in a timely manner and ballpark estimates on time to completion were accurate. I will certainly return and anticipate becoming a regular customer.”

“Took my daughter's Kia Soul here the other day. The flange behind the converter was rusted and falling apart. Other muffler shops wanted over $1000 for a complete exhaust system. Ron got us in, cut the flange out, sleaved the pipes, and welded them both together. The job was done in 45 minutes and was under $200. “Took my Corvette to Herb Chambers 3 times for the engine misfiring..After the 3rd visit they told me it was the transmission and to take it to a transmission mechanic in Wakefield. Within 1 hr the transmission place told me it was fine. Took it to essex County auto repair. They did a tune up in one day. Car runs like new and they did it at a excellent price. The dealership should be embarrassed,they couldn't fix the car. They had it for 3 weeks.. can't say enough about essex, thank u for fixing my car.”

“I checked in with Erio in the service Dept. There was an issue where my appointment didn't show up. I had a funeral to attend and Erio calmly said he would get me in for service and do the best he could to get me out soon. I heard him say to a technician in the back that I had a funeral to go to so do the best you can to move this truck along. They did all that was asked at a reasonable price and got me out 30 minutes earlier than expected. Erio was very cordial and sympathetic. “Moving to Lynn meant we needed to find an auto repair shop we could trust. We shopped around and finally found Larson's. This is a woman owned and run business that is thorough, organized and affordable. Their goal is to make sure you receive the service you need to keep your car in top notch condition.
I brought my Honda here last week. After they did their review of the car, they recommended a few items that needed to be done. I agreed to have them do the work which included some outsourcing of part of the exhaust system.
The repairs were done on time and for the price quoted.
Driving home I got a warning light, so I called and they said bring it back tomorrow. I did and they determined two items needed to be fixed which may have been related to the repairs or maybe not.
Diane, the owner said that they were covering the cost to repair as it was possibly related to the other work done! I was so happy she did this and I was so astounded I don't think I thanked her enough. If you need your car serviced do not hesitate to use Larsons's. They have me as a customer for life after the way they treated me.”

“My son's mother in law was in town from New York for the w/e a couple years ago. Her car died Sunday night just before she was ready to head back to New York. My neighbor recommended I see Tim, which I did Monday morning.
Bad news the Transmission! Tim coordinated the rebuilding of her transmission with another reputable company in Wakefield.
Tim went above & beyond what I expected. He took care of everything pickup, delivery, and the return and test drive of her car. Son's mother in-law was thrilled with Tim and his efforts, especially where she was an out of towner and nervous about being take advantage of. 2 years later and no issues with the rebuilt transmission.
Tim went out of his way to help, he is sincere, honest, and runs reputable repair shop.
