“Unique, exciting programs, and welcoming to all! I was so impressed by my personal training sessions (in kettlebell proficiency) with Jeff. *Absolutely for anyone* looking to grow and evolve their strength training- no matter your level.I’ve been to manyyyyy many gyms all over the Boston-North Shore, and I can’t recommend enough checking it out and finding your focus!”
“How are you supposed to review your favorite place?I've been coming to Fly Together Fitness Somerville since July 2021. Since then I've done several public performances, learned a ton of moves, and discovered a great community.More than anything, I feel safe learning at Fly Together Fitness. I feel safe being there as a man, knowing I'm in a room that welcomes all kinds of people and bodies. I feel safe learning advanced techniques and combos because the studio instructors are so skilled and safety-conscious. I feel safe expressing myself and bringing my own style to pole, because the community here is so supportive.I've taken classes at a dozen studios around the world, and I can say that Fly Together has the best curriculum to take a student from their first class up to accomplishing the hardest technical tricks. The studio has structured levels, with a specific move list for each one, so that every student in a class has a solid foundation for the techniques to come. The instructors aren't afraid to push you, but every move is shown with modifications and alternatives, so that everyone can make progress from where they're at. There are conditioning and flexibility classes to help students develop the capacity for more difficult tricks, as well as flow and choreography classes that help you squeeze the most expression out of your dance routine.Did I mention that the studio has public performances, a choreography-writing class for those who want to improve their competition or showcase pieces, and social pole-jams throughout the year?If you've been thinking of trying pole, or you're a veteran looking for a new studio to call home, I cannot recommend Fly Together Fitness enough.”

Jenny is a really thoughtful and dynamic trainer who is quick to improvise solutions that work for me and my fitness level. Super welcoming environment, exceptionally clean and always good energy. So grateful to have discovered it when I moved back to MA a few years ago!”

The gym programs consistent, challenging workouts that are a great mix of strength and HIIT/cardio, keeps things fresh and interesting. The coaches are very welcoming, small class formats mean you get eyes on you and feedback for more technical movements, excellent for beginnersThe community is young, inclusive, and fun! Very open to newcomers”
“I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Orange Theory in Somerville, and I can confidently say it's a 5-star fitness haven. Coach Emily is absolutely fabulous and incredibly competent. She turned what could have been an intimidating first class, especially for someone new to the rigors of exercise, into a breeze. Emily provided fantastic instructions and consistently checked on me throughout the entire session. The studio itself is top-notch, well-equipped with everything you need for a fulfilling workout. The energy in the room is incredibly engaging, complemented by an excellent selection of tunes. Each class presents a welcomed challenge, and I genuinely look forward to every session. What truly sets Orange Theory apart is the wonderful and encouraging community it fosters. The camaraderie among members is palpable, and the support from both fellow participants and the caring staff is unparalleled. Emily and the entire team have created an environment where every milestone, no matter how small, is celebrated. It's a fantastic place to not only achieve fitness goals but also to be part of a motivating and supportive fitness family.”

630 Somerville Ave, Somerville“I was a member in summer of 2019 and recently dropped in to one of Molly's classes after a 5 year hiatus. Because I acquired an incomplete spinal chord injury in 2022, dropping into CrossFit gyms can be a challenge; but I had a wonderful experience! I gave them a heads up with information about my disability a couple of days before class. I also showed up 15 minutes early to talk to Molly. Overall, friendly and supportive vibes—had several nice conversations pre and post workout. Molly was really good at going over the workout, talking about proper form (points of performance) and stimulus (goal reps/scores). I was the only adaptive athlete and I felt included and had great workout!”
“I’ve been coming to this gym for years and they have always been welcoming. The owner is active at the gym and frequently makes changes to upgrade the equipment or modernize the gym. The owner is also very friendly and the staff is helpful. There are people of all ages there that are social and friendly.Over the years I’ve been able to take advantage of all parts of the gym from the free weights, to the machine sections and new legs machines, the cardio section, and even the open area with room for stretching and other exercises. I have been able to get stronger and more athletic with all the equipment here and benefit greatly.Would definitely recommend.”
“The energy and community feel of the bouldering project is vibrant and safe. I am not a climber but a mom of a 6 year old who learned to love climbing. I get into a happy and supported frame of mind every time I walk into this space. My kid feels nurtured, supported, and safe with excellent teachers. Growns ups encourage kidsto climb with them!!!!”

1 Davis Square, Somerville“review takes into account this is a gym located in city, so different expectations vs gym in suburbs (such as LA fitness). overall, pretty good gym for me who works out 5-6times a week. about 3-4 squat racks in total (3 can be modified to do other workouts), 2+ horizontal and 2+ incline bench press etc. one platform upstairs for deadlifting. plenty of free weights. room for cycling upstairs, many treadmills, could use more elliptical machines, some stairmasters do not work.. I usually do not have any issue getting on the machines/equipment i need since i workout in mornings.. can’t say much about how busy it is after work hours.. overall solid choice”
“One of my favorite gyms in the area! Always such a welcoming and inclusive space, and I love Coach P's approach to working out. They are super intentional, attentive, and knowledgeable. Phenomenal business! :)”
