“Super nice owner. Brought my Ruger S9 compact in for a custom holster. Unfortunately he was pretty busy, but I look forward to coming back in the future when he can take more requests. He gave me honest opinions and some good info. I forgot my light at home, but he had plenty of lights from multiple companies for references. Ended up leaving with a standard pre-made holster that works heaps better than my current holster. I think he even gave me a military discount. Regardless, good experience, will definitely be back before I leave Massachusetts.”

85 Pier 4 Blvd., Boston“Haris was so helpful at the seaport store! He gave me tons of options to try on for new pants. He was very knowledgeable about the materials and what I should expect!”
“Friendly workers. Running shoes, clothing, and gear are all high quality.I give 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons. Mainly, there is no info on the shoes on the wall display. The Boston and Brookline locations list things like the model, stack height, and drop right next to the shoe. Cambridge really needs to do this.Secondly, the 3 shoes initially brought out didn’t match my foot scan at all. It was odd. But I did find a pair of Nikes I liked and was able to order them from Nike directly in the width I need. Note that width options are limited in most running stores. So I don’t fault Marathon sports for not carrying the wide.”
“These people are simply the best you could ever hope to work with for team sports supplies! Every interaction is so easy, whether we are looking for uniform jerseys for 650 kids, cases upon cases of baseballs, trophies, coach gear, etc. They never cease to impress me with their ability to meet deadlines that seem impossible, and are so accommodating at every step of the ordering and procurement process. We (Scituate Little League) have been doing business with Rockland Athletics for decades, and I couldn’t recommend this great family-owned and operated local business enough!”

39 Brattle St, Cambridge“I typically wouldn't leave reviews for stores, but my experience at the Patagonia store in Harvard Square, Cambridge, was exceptional! I brought in my ripped jacket for repair, knowing that Patagonia offers free repairs, but the salesman truly went above and beyond to help me out. His assistance and expertise made the process seamless and hassle-free. It's evident that customer satisfaction is a top priority at this store. I highly recommend Patagonia to anyone in need of outdoor gear, not just for their high-quality products but also for their outstanding customer service.”
“I have to say, it has been nothing short of amazing customer service and partnership between my organization and College Hype. Margaret is wonderful, Joe Foley and many many more who I can't name in this review are just the best!! highly recommended them for all things print, etc!!!”
“We’ve been members of this wonderful place for 4 years now, and couldn’t be happier. The coaching staff are wonderful and encouraging, and the kids have been such a great group every step of the way. Facilities are great and so many options for training, lessons, and workouts. Highly recommend!”
“Joined the loyalty program and got a further discount, it was already cheap and reasonably priced so was thrilling to get it discounted further, fully stocked and they have all the sizes, was there in the summer so naturally not a busy place”

346 Newbury St, Boston“Amazing company. The best guarantee in the market, and I’ve looked at many other competitors guarantees. I know everything at Patagonia is pricey, but when you evaluate the amount that you’re paying versus the longevity of the product, as well as the overall vision and mission of the company, I think that it’s overall worth it.The store itself is really nicely laid out and there’s little bit of history on the space from before Patagonia moved in in 1988.”
“I have been purchasing batting gloves for 30 years from this company. For the past 10 years they have been custom. Franklin Sports has excellent customer service. I just read the single review on here and it is amazing how ridiculous people are today. Totally unfair and Franklin's explanation makes perfect sense. "we count days differently"????? Complete joke of a response from the reviewer. Let me tell you about my experience. Anytime...ANYTIME I have an issue with my gloves I email the company with a photo and they resolve it right away. There have only been a few of those. They are also very quick to respond. The guys are super. I am capable of understanding how days and weeks work in the real world. I am capable of waiting the six weeks for the gloves to ship because that is the expectation level the company sets.”

1638 Beacon St, Brookline“It was my first time at Marathon sports today, and I was completely blown away by their service. John really took care of me and was very knowledgeable. I understand now why I was recommended this place. No other businesses compare.”
“The shop carries well-made athletic wear and accessories. I've gotten great workout staples from sustainable slow made companies as well as headbands and cozy sweatshirts that you can't get elsewhere locally. Items rotate regularly so you can always find something just right for the season.”
“Tom and other associates were very helpful today. I had a club repaired and I was not able to get back to the Braintree store for a very long time. Tom was able to locate the iron. I had new grips put on and repair guys were very good. Thanks”
“After going to three other stores, I finally went to Marathon sports and I went into the store with the realization that this was the last resort. Tyler.was wonderful. He listened and advised me to get the best shoe I needed for walking after a recent stay in The hospital I needed a shoe that would be comfortable but give me enough room for my little toes. we chatted about different ones and finally came up with the shoe that I really liked and that was extremely comfortable. I was so impressed with the customer service of the entire team. They was so attentive to their customers. Really concerned about what they were giving them as far as the correct shoe and the right fit. So I give this place a five star review”
“In a time when customer service has never been worse, I had a more than pleasant experience in working with this company - on something that I actually really messed up when ordering. I heard directly from the owner, who took my issue very seriously and addressed it himself - immediately. He genuinely cared that this was a gift for my 11-year-old son, and reassured me that he would do whatever he could to help me make it up to him. It’s clear that I Love Boston Sports truly values their customers. As long as they’re around and selling their unique and cool stuff, I will be supporting this store as much as possible.”
“This store is excellent! Sponge answered every question I had and was the most kind sales person I could ask for. I walked away with a brand new board and bindings. I could not be happier!! Thank you once again Sponge!!”
“Mom loves this brand, so when we were in town visiting, we made it a point to stop by. This is a nice, cute little store with cool running gear inside. It's definitely a spot to visit if you're looking to pick up some fashionable gear.”
“Hilton's Tent City in Central Square, Cambridge, is a hidden gem that deserves all five stars! This great little store boasts a team of helpful and knowledgeable workers who go above and beyond to assist customers. One of the standout features of Hilton's is their frequent discounts, making their prices often more affordable than big-box retailers like REI or Patagonia. This makes it a go-to spot for budget-conscious shoppers without compromising on quality.Speaking of quality, the recommendations and product selection at Hilton's are unparalleled. I recently purchased a pair of shorts based on their recommendation, and I must say, I'm thrilled with my purchase. The shorts are not only stylish but also durable, ensuring they'll last me a long time.If you're in Central Square and in need of outdoor gear or apparel, Hilton's Tent City is the place to go. You'll receive top-notch service, great prices, and quality products that won't disappoint. Highly recommended!”

15 Stockwell Dr Suite #7, Avon“I took a drive here earlier today with my husband who was in the market for a new pair of sneakers/walking shoes. He can be a tough fit for any and all clothing because at 6'3" tall with a size 13 wide foot, things can be limited in stock. As it is, he has all his dress shirts made for him and he has had suits custom made to ensure an impeccable and comfortable fit.Lucky for him, the particular sneakers he was looking for were not only in stock here in his size but at a lower (factory outlet) price. The customer service was impeccable. A salesman named Hector assisted him and brought out not only the shoe he was looking for but a couple of other examples for Tom to try on and consider. For essentially what is an outlet store, this level of service seemed above and beyond and was greatly appreciated. The store also sells, lots of other New Balance sportswear for both men and women....leggings, sweats, jackets, gym wear, socks and even hats and gloves all under the New Balance label. As this is a "factory store" with lower prices, you cannot always count on finding the exact thing you are looking for and in your size. That said, there seemed to be a huge array of inventory of all kinds. There are some things sold here that are "factory" seconds but those are clearly marked. If not marked as such you can be assured they are first quality.New Balance is a local Massachusetts company so it is nice to give them our business. Many, although not all, New Balance shoes are manufactured in the United States and they employ many New Englanders amongst their 5 manufacturing sites in Massachusetts and Maine. This is a good new story from a good news company trying to do the right thing here in the USA.This store is a bit out of the way for us but I would definitely return. There is another outlet a bit closer to us in Brighton but for us, that means traipsing in and through the city and ending up in a potential parking nightmare. Here, there is plenty of easy and free parking and the store and its layout are large and easy to navigate.”
“Quick and easy solution for our work shirts! Jim was great to work with and made the process simple. We look forward to doing business together again in the future.”

“the number listed for this store will not let a call go through and repeatedly states the line is busy. however, if you made an online purchase, you can reach staff on their website through their message portal -- they are very responsive. online orders are a separate department from their retail store. special thanks to Molly, Karen, and Catrina for helping with my past order.”
