I needed to call the main number and many times I would get passed onto their call center. They would then take my information and tell me someone will get back to me within 24 hours.My requirements are that when I need information from the bank I need it when I call, not later in the day or the next day.At Main Street Bank in Lunenburg, I can indeed call branch office and talk to someone that will give me the answers I need when I call. To this point, I've just found the service of the manager and the associates over the moon.The Main Street Bank in Lunenburg, just like the old-fashioned banks of yesterday, seem to really believe in customer service in real life, not fancy slogans.Angela, Allison, Parker and Betty are great! Highly recommended!”

I experienced some trouble at a few other lending institutions attempting to open an account, due in part to banking mistakes I had made in my early 20s. Walter and Angel both helped me open an account so I could have my checks direct deposited from my new job. I couldn't be happier with the way I was treated and the understanding they had for my situation. I would recommend this bank to anyone!!”

She never gave up and called customer care for us. She promised to call us back in a couple of hours which she did. The account was changed today not next week thanks to Ana's great customer service.”

308 Main St, Groton“FROM DONNA PARKER (on John Parker's email)WCU (Groton office) went through a period where we were unhappy with the service, especially with no one answering the phone!!! FYI/One time, I called the Littleton office asking why wasn't anyone answering calls in the Groton office? (Please note, at that time, I mentioned this fact to someone at the Groton office, when someone finally answered.) Maybe, this was due to the post-COVID chaos that companies were experiencing?Recently, on our last few visits there, it appears that they seem to be 'righting the ship!' And, it is great to see the lobby has been restored to a more modern bank-like atmosphere, now being more inviting and far less claustrophobic.Also, at this time, we want to give a SHOUT OUT to Bethany Schlaich! She is very knowledgeable and always makes good suggestions to us. She has assisted us many times before her leave, and we are very glad she is back!Thank you! :)The Parkers”

I spoke with a woman named Kathy and she was very nice and helpful. I let her know that the hospital had not billed the right insurance and she looked into it right then she assured me that the hospital had contacted them and it would be off my credit report in 30 days. Kathy was great!”

“I have been banking with Service Credit Union for about 15 years and I can legitimately say that in all that time I have not had even one single unpleasant customer service interaction, whether it be on the phone, over chat, during a loan process or currency exchange.
