She was so helpful and explained to me every details of how HELOC program works. Finally, I was convinced and decided to go with her. She made the process so easy and my loan was process within 2 weeks. At closing, she made an appearance at closing to make sure that I understood every sheet of paper that i was signing. “I’ve been with this bank for almost 25 years. They used to be Commerce Bank, after transition to Berkshire Bank they maintained most of the qualities I really liked about Commerce, primarily their hours - amazingly stayed open until 7pm - until recently… now they close at 4pm Mon-Wed, and 5pm on Thu-Fri. This Park Ave branch is open on Sat until noon but the downtown branch on Main St. Is not. Unfortunately, this change took place but for the most part, so do my banking online so it’s not worth finding a new bank. Syrian The woman who was the manager for the longest time was amazing, Mrs. Wilke (I believe?) I loved her! The new manager that took over was nice as well, but he has since moved on. I do appreciate seeing familiar faces there, several workers have been there for years but I’ve noticed a lot more change and turnover since it became Berkshire Bank. I’m not sure if this is related to the change in ownership or timing with the pandemic, etc.? Either way, they’re phasing out the things that remained “Commerce” now and it definitely feels like a new bank. I’m mostly indifferent but this is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5… the changes. It used to be a 5, the change in hours dropped it to 3 stars, but their new online and mobile platforms bump it up to 4. If they would only dispense $10 bills from the ATM or allow you to choose which bills you want (like another well-known, over priced, red-tape National bank here in America) I’d bump it up to 5 stars.”

Rosa went above and beyond to keep us updated with the changes in rates and helped us navigate the complicated world of mortgages as first time home buyers. She was at our nerve racking closing and was advising us till the second we signed the dotted line. Her experience in the field as a previous realtor helped us a lot and she wasn't afraid to give us the best advice. The ladies inside were very nice and helpful, and the holiday decorations were lovely.HOWEVER, I’m so glad I went with gran because those doors are SO. HEAVY. One way in and one way out. ? And there wasn’t a handicap auto door opener (she uses a walker.) Isn’t that an ADA rule to accommodate for the handicapped? I had trouble as a young healthy lady, sheesh. I hope they do something about that.”
