“I had to go to Holmes Family Vet today for help with my cockatiels eye discomfort. Dr. Holmes came in and handled him so well, was very knowledgeable! This was his first time having to go to a veterinary office and I could tell he was comfortable. Our technician was Morgan and she was also wonderful. She listened to all my questions and helped to explain what I need to do regarding care at home. I recommend this place to anyone!”

“NEVER have I EVER seen a vet being so invested, so thorough, so caring about my dog. I am in awe..I came here for a second opinion for my dogs health issue, before simply accepting what my original vet said, and man am I glad I did. Dr Levine went above & beyond to make sure that he had researched ALL options before letting my dog undergo surgery, and guess what? He doe not necessarily need surgery - Dr Levine had alternatives, very well thought out alternatives that he carefully discussed eith me, and I just could not be happier! Thank you!!”

“Our sweet boy had an amazing experience here. I’m so glad we found Dedham Vet. We had a very traumatizing experience at our previous vet where they mishandled our boy (force holding him down and dragging him by the collar) not once but twice which resulted in him being completely fearful of going back in. It turns out we just needed the right team of compassionate people who truly care. Tiffany and Dr Bolduc took their time with us and everything went completely smooth. We’ve been here a few times now and every staff member I’ve interacted with has been nothing short of wonderful. We can’t wait to be back in a few months for our next visit. :)”

“I found this place because I had been going to the same Brookline vet group for 17 years and it has steadily been going downhill but I was loyal and don’t like change. When my dog became really sick - I had to find a place that was organized, calm & competent to try and save my dogs life. Ultimately, lily passed away but the wonderful care she received & the kindness that was shown to me was like night and day compared to my previous vet. I can’t believe I waited so long to switch to a different vet / practice. Thank you chestnut hill for doing everything you could for Lilly & I. The receptionist/administrator, vet techs & veterinarians were so nice to us during a very sad and stressful time.”

“We have 2 dogs that are frequent flyers at MetroVet. Everyone is so caring with my pups and always helpful with my many phone calls with questions. My dogs are very nervous and we’ve had experiences with other vets where I wasn’t allowed in the exam room or they just didn’t seem to care about my dogs being comfortable there. Here I get to stay with them and they take things slow at their pace and give lots of good treats. We also go right into the exam room and never have to deal with other dogs being too close to us which is also a plus. My dogs love the staff here! ❤️”

“My cat ripped off the side of my air conditioner and escaped. He got into a toxin and animal control found him on tge side of the road and brought him here. Animal control could not find a chip but this hospital scanned again to find it and let us know. They don’t do round the clock care so they referred me to Tufts in Walpole. I was able to bring my cat there. He would have died if it were not for this hospital. He is now back home and has made a full recovery. You saved my Donatellos life. I am forever grateful!”
