“I used to drive all the way to Portsmouth NH to the State liquor & Wine outlet...well no more! I get the same assortment of a dozen bottles of wine every two weeks. Not only is my bill considerably smaller but I've saved myself more than an hour drive. If looking for suggestions there's always a knowledgeable person on the floor to speak with. AND they have a huge walk-in cooler of beer selection.”
“The owner of this establishment is by far one of the coolest people I think I've ever met. He's so kind and so personable, not to mention that they have the craziest amount of wine from all over the place. I started by going to buy once a week but he always changes them up so there's always different stuff. And now he carries hard liquor too, and beer.”

“Very good selection of beers, avoiding a trip to larger stores. They have difficult to find beers, and the prices are affordable. Staff is knowledgeable and able to point in the right direction. They're particularly good with IPAs , and have a decent selection of non alcoholic options. Unfortunately they don't carry a lot of stouts/porters but apart from that i always find something new and interesting. I can't speak for the liquor and wine selection, but the store is large.”

A nice craft beer selection, including a few great Vermont brands that are hard to find locally. I recently visited, having not been in the store for 20 years or more, and found it more open and spacious than I recalled. I will visit more often now.”
“Theyve got everything you need including premium cigars packed from the manufacturers in plastic humidor travel bags that I just realized in the last month after a couple yrs., the best prices in town, & the best price Ive found anywhere on what was already my favorite cigar--Perdomo Champagne. The storefront is tight but the selection is impeccable, they own the whole bldg. & I'd say theyve got about 8x the storage space, & the whole staff is gr8. Id drive elsewhere if I thought another store were better, & if I move outta the neighborhood I'll still patronize this shop.”

“Only did a brief walk by, but looked in good condition. Don’t really see the practicality though because one can’t bring beer from outside Fenway into Fenway. Suppose if one wants to drink a lot before the game and get nice and drunk that would make sense.
Kid-friendliness: Very Friendly. They let the kids have a sip or two or three or four from what I saw from the window.”

“I haven't been there for years but went this afternoon and it was a great surprise. They have so many wonderful items that we found lots of things to get for holiday gifts. Unusual jams, locally made chocolates, my friend's favorite anchovies, great crackers and even some rose. The owner and his staff were very nice too. This place is a wonderful find and a well kept secret. Let's change that. It's nice to have a little store like this in the neighborhood when all of the mega stores are everywhere. Let's support it so it stays around. Boston's needs special places like this.”
“Good selection of spirits, and they have several store picks that vary throughout the year and are worth checking out. Should have several available for sampling at any given time that allow you to try before committing. We are a bit spoiled for choice locally, but this is certainly a store worth visiting if you're in the area.”

“I love this grocery store so much. In a fairly small square footage, they have such amazing variety of fresh produce (including shiso leaves, which are so hard to find!!), frozen foods, sushi grade fish, kitchenware, freshly prepared foods, and a truly unbeatable sake selection. (The only area they lack in is soy milk; I really wish they carried some imported Japanese brands, as American soy milk is so bad and has so many fillers in it. But for a grocery store to not carry just one thing I’m looking for is a really good track record!) It’s mostly Korean and Japanese groceries, but some offerings branch out into Thai, Chinese, and even Indian ingredients.To boot, Paul is truly the kindest proprietor and also really knowledgeable about the products he sells if you have questions. I was once debating between two types of matcha powder and couldn’t quite tell the difference from the Japanese label, so he pointed me in the right direction.I’ve now been coming here for a few years, but during I think my third or fourth visit I told Paul this was my favorite grocery store and he ran into the produce section and grabbed a HUGE Asian pear to give me as a gift in gratitude. It was so unexpected and so meaningful to have that kind of personal interaction in an increasingly isolated world.I love shopping at this local business over H Mart, and I really hope they are in Union Square for decades and decades to come. With the neighborhood changing so rapidly right now, I do worry about this little spot. Support it if you live in the area!”

“Web searching local champagnes lead me here and first time visiting. Very nice wine and cheese and more. Very nice and wide selection of RM growers Champagnes, largest I have seen around here. Impressive. Was able to talk with the kind and knowledgeable in-house wine guru, and heard some nice recommendations of Blanc de Noirs, and picked Eric Rodez Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs for a special celebration. Enjoying every gold drop of it. Thank you very much for the recommendation! Will definitely visit again for another Blanc de Noir bottle.”
“Small shop that has a little bit of everything one might want. Maybe not always the exact beverage, but definitely something comparable. Good upscale whisky selection. Wish the Japanese whiskey selection included more than Nikka, but that's not worth dropping a star. Very friendly and helpful service.”

“If you need any alcohol beverage this is the place to go , they have anything you're looking for and its very clean inside the store and labeled aisles to assist in what you're looking for . the clerks are very friendly and well kempt . its an easy accessible parking area with plenty of parking , it is easy to get in and out without any trouble .located in a very nice area with plenty of scenic views and plenty of other places if you need to pic something else up on your travel's. You can enjoy your day , worry free and make your weekend care free with plenty of family fun , enjoy your time with Friend's , you won't regret choosing Gordon's liquor's .”
