“Great restaurant for breakfast or lunch! Prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food they're serving. The servers are friendly and accommodating. They were very understanding about my parent who has dementia.... Served her soup as soon as it was ready as requested, brought more hot chocolate as needed and they waved every time my mother waved at them. As my teenaged daughter says: "they know how to serve old people."The food was very good. I had their berry strudel French toast (lots of fresh strawberries and strawberry ricotta cheese on challah French toast) was absolutely delicious - I liked it without syrup. The rest of my party had corned beef hash and eggs, cheeseburger, panini, and lemon chicken rice soup. All was so good, we didn't have any leftovers!Metered street parking only.Handicap access: zero steps (ramped entryway); everything, including large bathrooms, on one level.Wheelchair accessibility: Zero steps (ramped entryway); everything, including large bathrooms, on one level.”

“Very polite. But isn't accept bottle redemption.Apparently most liquor stores aren't accepting returns... Something about COVID... How is this allowed to happen?”

“Dion's just works. My dog likes it too. I used to be a Gordon's regular. I do miss Friday evening wine tastings at the split but Dion's in Nonantum is better in every way.”

“Excellent selection of domestic, import, and local craft beer. Large variety of wine that I know nothing about. A good wall of whiskey. Fairly small rum section, but some good options for mixing or sipping. Most importantly, accurate and transparent pricing on the shelves for every single bottle or can.”

“I saw pastrami sandwich mentioned in reviews. Visited store for first time as always thought it was only a beer, wine , liquor store. Well Italian specialties, and other specialties you can't find elsewhere... very impressive selections... Then wine, beer great selections. Then a deli with fresh sandwiches and cooked foods? I ordered the Brooklyn Pastrami hot sandwich on dark rye and was excellent hot version .... More pastrami would be better.. I think a cold version might have been better Melted cheese too... Cole slaw had nice taste with sandwich. Pickle was a good deli one and not a jar one... other sandwiches look good too... deli person very accommodating with bread options, etc.”

“UPDATE THE MOST UNUSUAL wine shop in the Boston area, that imports all their own wines directly (many of which no one else imports to the US), and hidden in a basement in Newton. There was an article about them on Forbes: Updating because Ansonia is back open again, post-COVID, for the once a month 10AM-2PM Saturday "Owner's Hours" free tasting (typically 10+ bottles open). They do a good job explaining each wines backstory. You can find the schedule on their website here: The other three Saturdays of the month, they are open for browsing and picking up wines previously ordered. Easy parking in the lot out front. More details in my previous reviews below.”

“This is a great little liquor store that secretly doubles as a gourmet market with artisanal cheeses, crackers, pasta, meats and more. The store has a great selection of bottles with very good prices. Staff is super happy and friendly and it's always neat, clean, and we'll organized inside. Great parking right in front of the store. Highly recommend.”

“Family run business that I love to frequent. Everyone is very nice and they take the time to get to know the locals by name. The prices are a little higher than you'll find at a supermarket, but the kids always love to swing by for a quick treat after school.”

“Best store for so many things. Would be easier to navigate if i spoke more Russian, but it's a great place to practice while I'm learning! Plus the produce is always delicious and fresh!”

“Amazing liquor store with top notch service. Kenny is the best at providing recommendations on what to drink for the evening. They also have exclusive, limited edition and hard to find bottles. These reasons alone make this my #1 choice liquor store in town.”
